One More Great Sweded Movie - Tron!

Although Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind played poorly at the box office in February (only $10.6 million to date), I do compliment the film's ability to actually popularize sweding - the idea of remaking films out of simple items, like cardboard. We've featured countless sweded videos before - Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, even Be Kind Rewind itself - but now we've got one more incredible one that I can't pass up. There is one cult classic movie that still remains the ultimate geek extravaganza - Tron! Courtesy of SlashFilm, we've got one awesome sweded version of Tron, complete with cardboard light cycles!
You know you wanted to watch this the moment you read the title. Thankfully the cardboard production values are second to none and this kicks more ass than nearly any other sweded video I've seen (except maybe Gondry's Be Kind Rewind self-sweded trailer). Fire this bad boy up and get ready to lose control of your inner geek.
This felt like (without actually checking) a pretty damn accurate shot-for-shot representation of that entire light cycle battle - except maybe half the length. But you've got to imagine they probably made this thing for $50 or less, minus the cost of the camera of course. And damn did it kick ass! Even looked better than the actual movie!
This may be the last sweded video we run… unless someone else makes something this awesome. So get to work young sweders!
