Worth Watching - April 1: Bill Pullman's Surveillance Trailer
April 1, 2008

We just got our hands on an international trailer for a movie called Surveillance starring Bill Pullman that's directed by David Lynch's daughter Jennifer. This is a very weird trailer. There is a lot going on and its hard to understand, but somehow I really liked it. I like how screwed up it is and how much it makes me want to figure out what in the heck is actually going on. I hope with that kind of introduction I've captured your interest, too, because within the first few seconds you'll be drawn into this as well, I guarantee. And remarkably I'd never heard of this movie until now. Ready to watch?
Watch the trailer for Surveillance:
Surveillance is directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch (Boxing Helena), daughter of legendary indie filmmaker David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Mulholland Dr., Inland Empire). The film is being released by Warner Brothers in Germany, but I can't determine whether it has an American distributor yet (although it is unlikely that it does). Hopefully we can expect to see this in theaters sometime in 2008.

I think it's pretty doubtful this will get picked up for NA release. If anything, they may go the self distribution route that David Lynch took for "Inland Empire". I'm hoping for the best but not holding my breath.

It looks really good and messed up. im pretty sure the guy who plays in tree lounge and lord of theflies, charlie newmark plays a police officer in this movie. I think hes a good actor. Bill Pullman and Julia Ormond are also in this one. there is another movie this director did that i like does anyone know the name of it.
