Moon Bloodgood Joins Terminator 4 Cast

Journeyman star Moon Bloodgood is the latest the join the cast of Terminator 4 (remember it's no longer titled Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins?). She joins as the lead female character alongside of Christian Bale as John Connor, Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese and Sam Worthington. This puts an end to those rumors that hit the internet last week that claimed that Terminator 4 was being shut down. Not sure what to say about this - Bloodgood seems like an acceptable choice for the female lead.
The only information we have on her character is that she will play "a no-nonsense and battle-hardened member of the resistance." I really can't wait to see how this sequel is shaping up - I hope we start to hear some early buzz from the set soon enough because it sounds like Warner Brothers is trying to turn this into something fairly incredible. Terminator 4 is being directed by McG (Charlie's Angels, We Are Marshall) and is currently set for release next summer on May 22nd, 2009.

Yeah, she's a little TOO hot. What is she leading, the supermodel wing of the human resistance fighters? It'd be better if she were playing a flawless, manufactured Terminator.

Let's see how she plays this role, I liked her in the Journeyman and I hope a good performance from her.

yeah i dont like Bale as John Conner, Moon is a good choice. Shes a new face to the big screen, Well not that new but you havent seen a whole lot.
Im actually tired of bale already.

I like Moon, shes great, however as far as Terminator goes, why do we have to make a movie right now, when the series is doing so well and is pretty damn good imo?
It's like I have a feeling they are gonna screw it up or make the series obsolete, like the series did for t3 (which was awesome btw) I think there are so many interesting sci-fi things we could be exploring instead of doing 2 terminator projects at once.
I don't know, just because I like the series so much, it makes me not really on board for the movie at this point. Its like these companies wanna ride whats hot into the ground until it sucks which is bad for the fans!

Yeah thats about it, She wasnt too bad in Journey man. She had that straight forward no emotion attitude. And i think that will come in handy here.

really, I'm hoping that by virtue of Bale's involvement there'll be sufficient pressure to not totally 'eff this up. maybe that's naive though. still can't get over this chick's name though!

im starting to wonder how can this movie be anything but incredible, and no shes not too hot, hot chicks can kick ass too, women have rights now
wheres the story about james bonds car ending up in the drink? and why didnt it turn into a submarine?
