Must Watch: Young People Fucking Trailer!

I'm sure everyone's jaw just dropped. No this isn't porn, no this isn't tasteless filmmaking, if anything, this is one of the best comedies I've seen in the last few years. Young People Fucking debuted at the Toronto Film Festival last year and ended up being one of my favorites of the fest. The film is a delightful and fun comedy exploring the quirks of sex through five different relationships: the couple, the exes, the roommates, the friends, and the first date. I suggest you read my 9/10 review and I demand you watch this trailer - no really, I'm sure you'll all get a kick out of it - and there are a lot of gorgeous women in it…
Note: I'm not too shy to outright call it Young People Fucking (instead of censoring it). That's what the movie is titled it deserves to gain some extra attention for having such an outrageous title. But don't let it fool you - while there are young people having sex in it, it's much more about the drama and relationships than about the graphic sex. Remarkably, I'd call this a milder version of Shortbus. If anything, it doesn't deserve more than an R rating - but who knows what the MPAA will do.

Young People Fucking is directed by first-time Canadian filmmaker Martin Gero and co-written by Gero and actor Aaron Abrams. The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and was picked up by THINKFilm for distribution in the US. Young People Fucking currently doesn't have a release date set here in the US, but I'm sure if it builds some buzz it will definitely get one soon!
