First Look: Evil-Doers of The Last House on the Left

Back in March we brought you word that the remake for The Last House on the Left had officially been occupied by wholesome parents-turned-avengers Monica Potter and Tony Goldwyn. And now, STYD tells (and shows) us who will be experiencing the business end of this domestic duo's revenge. Comprising the sadistic group are Garrent Dillahunt as Krug, Riki Lindhome as Sadie and Aaron Paul as Francis. Check out the brand new first look photos from the remake below!
Lucky Ryan of STYD received the test photos anonymously, with a promising note stating, "Last House is shaping up to be a beautifully shot, bloody, and brutal horror classic that will please the ghost of Ingmar Bergman and the modern horror hound alike." Sounds like someone with the production is looking for some traction. We're happy to help!

I think most would agree that these three are pretty spot-on for a group of murdering crazies. Dillahunt and Paul both have that wide-eye psycho stare, while Lindhome has a disturbed look of seduction; like she wants to kiss you, but she'd bite your tongue off in the process. My only issue would be that Dillahunt isn't exactly an imposing or feared kind of guy, physically I mean. He started to get there a bit playing a cold-killing Terminator in the TV series, so it'll be interesting to see how he does here.
With these three, however, I suppose that means the gang is only a trio this time around, as opposed to the original foursome. If that's true, then director Dennis Iliadis (and producers Marianne Maddelena, Sean Cunnigham and Wes Craven, himself) must be nixing the role of Weasel. For those who saw the original, there's a particularly gruesome scene involving this character that would make any man uncomfortable (not to mention the MPAA). So does that mean the remake won't cause as much controversy as the original?
The photo in the second row to the left in this early set is of Sara Paxton who plays Mari Cunningham, the murdered daughter that sets the film in motion. You can see her necklace already, which is a hallmark element of the story.
So is this starting to look promising to horror fans and those who like the original?

Ben Foster said no to this one? I thought he loved doing the psycho YA killer roles.
And Tony Goldwyn? Doesn't he have a decent directing career going. Monica Potter I understand, but Goldwyn must need a new house.

Foster would have been superb, but maybe he is just trying to get away from the "being the psycho" thing.

Hopefully it'll be Rated PG-13 so the whole family can see this movie. This people above don't look "crazy" at all. This one's gonna sink like a turd. Unless there's a chainsaw in it…….somewhere. Ha

Why is it that NO website that posts pictures or vidoes that must later be removed EVER tells their readers about the removal of said pictures/video on the MAIN page?
