Must Watch: Two New Clips of X-Files: I Want to Believe!

It's been just about three weeks since we saw the second trailer for The X-Files: I Want to Believe. Now with just about a month ’til its release, we get two short clips to whet our appetite a bit more. Though short, both clips do give us pretty solid look at the respective opening scenes of the film. Being a huge "X-Files" fan myself, seeing Mulder and Scully in action again is pure sci-fi nostalgia. I love that their dynamic seemingly hasn't changed, despite a six-year hiatus. The first clip gives us a nice shot of Xzibit's role - a fact I'm not too happy about - and a sampling of the film's PG-13 quality. The second provides a bit more insight into Bill Connelly's character and his neurosis that seems to drive the film.
I definitely dig this look at the film and anxiously await July 25th, but it's bitter sweet to see clips like this ahead of the movie. I'd prefer studios just stick with the trailers, honestly, and keep the mystery and excitement at a rolling boiling. Does this get you more excited to see the movie?

The X-Files: I Want to Believe is directed by X-Files creator Chris Carter and co-written by both Carter and show regular Frank Spotnitz. The film returns after a six year hiatus following the series' finale in May of 2002. The X-Files: I Want to Believe arrives in theaters this summer on July 25th. Believe!

I hate to be stickler, but Kevin you said yourself that you are huge "X-Files" fan - you misspelled Mulder's name "Moulder" in your synopsis here…

Looks pretty intriguing and mysterious. I loved the series and I just saw 1998s, "X-Files: Fight the Future" last weekend. I can't wait for this flick. Next to "The Incredible Hulk", this flick will be another surprise hit of the summer!

Big XF fan here! A bunch of my old xphile buddies and I are going on July 25th no matter how many dark, mysterious clips they want to throw at us. I do hope we're not going down the sister road again, though, had it up to here with her. Thanks for posting these, they had me at "Hold the line!"

Absolutely loved these clips. I can hardly wait to see the movie. I'm such a fan I'm not going to watch it on the net for free before I go pay to see it. I'm diving in eyes open and holding my breath. I'm not too bothered with the fact there doing the sister thing again. Honestly if it were me (and it was reality) I wouldn't be able to let her go so either. I never really understood what happen to her after she left the base where CSM had her when she was a teenager.
If you can't tell I am truly an huge fan. I watched from day one and have been watching the reruns when ever I can. If I had a job I would but the series.
