Two More Posters for The Coen Brother's Burn After Reading

Don't get your hopes up - both of these aren't the least bit as exciting as the first official poster. Thanks to Peter from SlashFilm, we now have two more posters for the Coen Brother's upcoming dark comedy Burn After Reading. They're not exactly terrible, but they're also not exactly anything amazing. As for the film itself, it's definitely one of the big ones that I'm looking forward to seeing. I'm certain that it will show at the Toronto International Film Festival, so expect a lot of coverage starting in September, including potentially an interview with the Coen's themselves. Until then, and as we wrap up two more months of summer movies, feast your eyes on these two posters for Burn After Reading.
If you haven't already seen them, we previously featured two fantastic trailers for Burn After Reading. The first is a red band trailer, the second an international teaser, both of them equally entertaining.
Posters removed at the request of Focus Features.
Burn After Reading is both written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, the directing duo behind Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and most recently the Oscar winning No Country for Old Men. After debuting at the Venice International Film Festival, Focus Features will be releasing the film domestically in the US. Burn After Reading arrives in theaters on September 12th.

I noticed today that they now have a green band trailer, which is mostly identical to the red band trailer with the exception of a few new scenes.
It can be watched at http://www.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/burnafterreading/trailer1b/
Can't wait to see the film.

My first Coen brother's movie was "O Brother Where Art Thou" and they're now on my top directors list. I'm getting "Raising Arizona" next from Netflix, and I'll have seen all their movies that I know of. They're very consistent in the quality of their films, even when their subject matter varies in content. IE-Fargo and The Big Lebowski. I'm very excited for this one.

3) Will S., Yea they are great director's aren't they? I still need to watch No Country for old Men, Miller's Crossing and Blood Simple- I'll definitely make time to see this one in the theaters. I think I'll take this opportunity to try and rank my favorites:
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
The Hudsucker Proxy
Barton Fink
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
The Man Who Wasn't There
Raising Arizona
The Ladykillers
Intolerable Cruelty

I lied. I can't find Blood Simple anywhere. I mean, if Netflix isn't in possession, I may be SOL. Haha.

I suppose I'm lucky that my local video store has a copy that's just waiting for me to rent it…
