Must Watch: Two Burn After Reading Character Vids - Chad and Harry

With the release of the Coen Brother's latest dark comedy Burn After Reading fast approaching, we're finally starting to get a good look at the plot. To help us better understand the complex story and provide some quick laughs, Focus Features has released two new character teasers. One of them introduces us to Chad, played by Brad Pitt, and the other introduces us to Harry, played by George Clooney. As much as I love Clooney, Pitt looks absolutely frickin' hilarious! He may even top James Franco from Pineapple Express as the funniest non-comic actor all year long in the end. I've absolutely loved all of the promos they've put out for Burn After Reading so far, including the first red band trailer and the international teaser, and these two teasers only add even more additional anticipation, so please enjoy!

Watch the Meet Harry teaser for Burn After Reading:
World-premiering as the opening-night film of the 2008 Venice International Film Festival; a dark spy-comedy from Academy Award winners Joel and Ethan Coen. An ousted CIA official’s (Academy Award nominee John Malkovich) memoir accidentally falls into the hands of two unwise gym employees intent on exploiting their find.
Burn After Reading is both written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, the directing duo behind Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and most recently the Oscar winning No Country for Old Men. After debuting at the Venice International Film Festival, Focus Features will be releasing the film domestically in the US. Burn After Reading arrives in theaters on September 12th.

i prefer this coen dark-comedies (like "fargo") much more than the very dark movie efforts they made, like the last year's no country for old men.
btw, there will be blood is so much better than ncfom

How f*cking badass is Pitt building his resume? First w/ the Coen brothers in Burn After Reading, then w/ Fincher in Benjamin Button, and now Tarantino w/ Inglorious Bastards. The dude is on fire.

I don't know guys it's looks kinda lame. More of an SNL skit than a $9.50-a-ticket movie.

BTW….There Will Be Blood was not the better film. Daniel Day-Lewis was the better actor. He carried that film.
NCFOM was a much better overall film.

Looks too much like The Ladykillers. Supposed to be funny but is not fun at all.

The music doesn't feel right in george clooney's performance, but Brad Pitt looks phenomenal.
Same with Malkovich.

i much prefer dicaprio in the pretty boys who are good actors category. i think dicaprio's done more justice to his career than brad has. sure bradwas awesome in jesse james but the dicaprio has blood diamond, departed to his credit. i believe dicaprio has been passed up for an award one time too many… also i much prefered the body of lies trailer than this one, brad looks too cheesy and not in a natural airhead sort of way… it just looks fake… i much prefer him in the oceans movies… he's good in those…

God I want this to be good, and I love brad pitt and everyone else, but its just not looking that funny! Remember The Mexican? Star power? Supposed humor? Terrible movie. I would love it if this was the next Big Lebowski but I'm just not sold yet. Prove me wrong Coen Brothers!

Brad has fight club on his resume, too. That was an awesome movie. Don't forget snatch. he was great as the bare knuckles irish gypsy guy.

Not to mention "12 monkeys", "a river runs through it" and "Legends of the fall" Brad pitt is awesome. I totally agree though that Leo should have gotten at least on oscar by now.

nah, it looks pretty lame
doesn't really seem funny. and i dont think pitt can top james franco's role in pineapple express with this movie. franco was really good in pineapple express. and idk, this movie doesnt seem much funnier than it.
