Is it just me, or is this video ancient? I'm pretty sure my brother showed me this at least a month or two ago, though I had no idea it was related to any upcoming movies. Anyway, I personally didn't think it was very funny, but I'll reserve judgment until I at least see a trailer.

honestly I dont think it is enough to even start assuming how good the movie is…it almost looks like a video about Mike Vallely than the Mall Cop Kevin James…and anyone who has watched Kevin James standup knows how funny he actually is…I am not one to go see comedies in the theatres very much unless it is on the level of Pineapple Express or Tropic Thunder so this will probably be a rental…

what happened to Kevin James career. I have to admit that I NEVER find him funny though. :-/ Maybe if is was Steve Carell as the mall cop it'd be a little funnier. He played a rent-a-cop in this teenie bopper movie "Sleep over" and it was pretty funny the scenes with him.

actually I was reading comment 16 and I AGREE whole heartily with him. It would have been much funnier if after he spray painted him he went from nerd to dumping the kid in a trash bin. It would have been pretty funny if he kicked the kids ass. (just cause its not expected.) like if he went all hulk without the changing…nice mild mannered "Paul" to angry "Mr. blart" the ass kicking security guard..

Not even going to bother watching this video. I watched many many episodes of his tv show, and I saw him in Hitch and saw his stand-up special. And not once did I so much as chuckle at anything he said or did. One of the unfunniest successful 'comedian/actors' I know of. He and Pauly Shore should be banished to a deserted island with their piles of ill-gotten money and left to rot.

I saw an early test screening last Tuesday, and the crowd LOVED it! Much, much funnier than the viral video. This video kinda drags, but the movie is tight throughout, with lots of funny jokes and great sight gags. It might not be high art, but it was funny.

I think he's doing a pretty good job of acting the part of a mall security guard. If I didn't know who Kevin James was, I'd be convinced. Who cares if this one video wasn't funny? Are you gonna go ahead and judge the movie based on a little two minute video you saw on the internet?
Did anyone see Chuck and Larry? Give the guy a chance.
At least they aren't pulling out all the stops in the preview only to pull the rug out from under your feet when you actually see the movie. Ever had that experience? Where the best parts of the movie are shown in the trailer and you think it will totally kick ass and then you see the movie and you want to blow chunks?

Alex Billington You are a dousche bag watch the whole movie before you post an opinion like that, kevin james is the man when it comes to comedy and at the very least you need to give this movie a chance and let people form theyre own opinions on it before shooting it down so badly. if skating is what youre into then watch a jackass CKY video you cant degrate a movie based on the preview alone i thought it was pretty good and clearly so did a few more people here, and thats only those who decided to post about it so next time maybe keep your opinion to yourself,

Brad Murphy, what you have just wrote here in these three posts is far, far funnier than anything Kevin James has ever done.

For the record I watched several episodes of King of Queens for Leah Remini and Patton Oswald (they weren't worth it), Hitch for Will Smith and Eva Mendes (also not worth it), and KJ's standup out of sheer boredom (it didn't help alleviate the boredom one bit).

This doesnt look too bad. I got a few laughs outta this teaser. Its not like the cam quality is what its like on this teaser? They obv have it filming through the eyes of a digitial camera, but then switch it during the movie. You guys suck for judging it already.
