Must Watch: Gruesome Red Band Death Race Trailer!

Universal has put out a last minute red band trailer for the upcoming action flick Death Race. This looks amazingly bloody, violent, explosive, and badass! I've heard some good things so far, but this really puts the cap on it all. It just looks like some awesomely gruesome cinematic entertainment at its finest and I can't wait to see it. A lot of people have problems with Paul W.S. Anderson, but he's not exactly the worst director. Sure, his movies may not have a good story, sure his movies may have cheap tricks, but at least they're entertaining - and in my mind, entertainment is as important as story. Anyway, enough of my own banter, we'll let you take a look and make a judgment on your own. And… oh yes we can kill you!

Death Race is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, of Mortal Kombat, Soldier, Resident Evil, and Alien vs Predator, with a screenplay written by J.F. Lawton, of Under Siege, Blankman, Chain Reaction, and Dead or Alive. The film is a remake of the 1975 cult classic B-movie Death Race 2000 directed by Paul Bartel and starring David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone. Death Race arrives in theaters on August 22nd.

Damn… they just ruined the last part of the trailer… i wanted to see that in theaters, and i was expecting his body to be sliced or something, not his head <_<…

Nikhil that's why I'm not gonna watch this, I don't think it should be labeled as Must Watch because anyone who's seem the first trailer has ALREADY seen too much and watching anymore would just spoil whatever filler crap is left that isn't shown or eluded to in the 15 min trailer already out.

don't know about anyone else,but i thought anderson absolutely NAILED the first re flick.it was a good popcorn movie,and the ambience was just right plus milla jovonich totally owned the role.the later 2,just alright.

That last ine always seems stupid in every trailer….
However, this trailer instilled in me a newfound interest in the movie. Before now I was thinking it was just another high-budget summer flop, but this trailer has me excited.
