Worth Watching - Sept 20: Red Band Good Dick Trailer

Don't think too much about this - Good Dick is not a porno, it's an independent film that premiered at Sundance earlier this year. Unfortunately it's not exactly a good film, but that doesn't mean I can't run a trailer for it, because there may be a few of you who will find something to like. The films is about two oddball individuals who start seeing each other, but through the weirdest of ways. One of them is a video store clerk, the other is a shy lonely girl who watches porn every night. This red band trailer is only red because of its language, so be weary. The film is a very solid effort for a first-time filmmaker that Los Angeles locals might get a kick out of, but unfortunately isn't anything amazing.
Watch the red band for Good Dick:
Good Dick is both written and directed by first-time filmmaker Marianna Palka, who also stars in the film alongside of Jason Ritter. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to rather negative reviews. Good Dick will arrive in very limited theaters starting on October 10th this fall. Check it out if you're curious, otherwise I'd say skip it and find something better.
