Check This Out: Sarah Brightman in Repo! The Genetic Opera Clip

I'm supporting Repo! The Genetic Opera because I really think it has a chance as a cult classic. There are people out there who hated it and won't give anyone a chance to enjoy it. I, on the other hand, believe that there are the right crowds who should give it a chance. So with that, I'm running a clip this weekend featuring singer Sarah Brightman and lead actress Alexa Vega. You'll hear one of the songs, titled "Chase the Morning", in the clip. It's actually one of the few songs that my friends who didn't like Repo thought was one of the best. I'm not sure everyone will like this, but please give it a fightin' chance!
Brightman plays a character named Blind Mag, who had her eyes replaced in a surgery. As you'll see in the clip, they're a bit more than just eyes. As for the rest of the story, it's a bit too complicated to explain, but Alexa Vega's character's mom was killed and she lives with her dad. As for the rest, you'll have to see it!

That movie looks SO sweet. I am totally up for supporting it…but I don't think it plays anywhere near me. I've watched that scene like 10 times, I love the weird way the lyrics flow. It's so…awesome.

That does it for me. I don't care if the rest of the movie is crap, this scene alone has won me over.

no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!
If this was one of the best songs in the movie, I don't know how it even got released in the first place. It has Rocky Horror Picture Show written all over it… in feces. I don't have an aversion to musicals and the like, but damn. What the hell?

Correct me if I'm wrong JL, but I own a copy of Rocky Horror Picture Show. And that musical is all about Transvestites from Transexual Transylvania. Now you listen to me. Repo! The Genetic Opera is all about a horrible future where people must take loans on organs. A company named Geneco helps these people survive, however if the person cannot make the payment on the organ then a Repo Man comes and removes it from their body. THOSE ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MOVIES!. Obviously if you compare Rocky Horror to this its like comparing Star Wars to Indiana Jones. Completely different topics, with one similiar detail (Indiana and Star Wars=action/adventure, Repo! and Rocky Horror=creepy musicals) Go see the movie then feel free to judge. I hate people who just assume something by a clip or a trailer.

I bought the movie without ever having seen it. I absolutely loved it. The graverobber is actually the guy who wrote the movie I think! He is good and so it the movie. It is another cult classic in my opinion and I hope everyone who sees the movie agrees!!
