It's that time of the month and that means we've got the latest Watchmen video journal to share with all of you. MySpace presents the 8th of 12 behind-the-scenes video journals chronicling the development of the film. Today's video journal focuses on the girls of the Watchmen universe, including Laurie Juspeczyk aka Silk Spectre, played by beautiful actress Malin Akerman, as well as her mother Sally Jupiter aka the first Silk Spectre, played by another beautiful actress, Carla Gugino. And this time the title of this featurette is pretty damn accurate - girls really can kick some ass! Definitely check this video out.
Watch the eighth Watchmen video journal - Girls Kick Ass:
Each new video is release on the 6th of every month, so check back again on December 6th for the next Watchmen video journal in the series. Last month: Watchmen Video Journal: Blue Monday.
Watchmen is directed by Zack Snyder (of Dawn of the Dead and 300) and written by David Hayter (The Scorpion King, X-Men, X-Men 2) and Alex Tse. The movie arrives in theaters everywhere on March 6th, 2009. Stay tuned for even more Watchmen coverage, photos, and more right here at FS.net!

So this is why the character of Amanda in Entourage didn't last very long…she had to come film this.

Goddamn this movie looks like it's gonna be good. The attention to detail is, like, crazy. Zack Snyder was really faithful to 300 as well. Which is kinda strange because his Dawn of the Dead was all screwy.
Not that I didn't like it.

Malin looks smoking hot in that outfit (and better with dark hair, too).
