Official Trailer for Rod Lurie's Nothing But the Truth

Don't reveal the source. The official trailer for Rod Lurie's Nothing But the Truth has just debuted today on AOL. The film stars Kate Beckinsale as a reporter in Washington DC who faces a possible jail sentence for outing a CIA agent and refusing to reveal her source. I've heard some very, very good things, including that it may be one of the best films of the year. The trailer looks intense and I'm anxious to find out the full story. I'm coincidentally about to head out the door to catch a screening of this film, since I missed it up in Toronto. I'll definitely let you know what I think, but in the meantime, fire up this trailer and enjoy!
Watch the trailer for Rod Lurie's Nothing But the Truth:
Nothing But the Truth is both written and directed by Israeli filmmaker Rod Lurie, of The Contender and Resurrecting the Champ previously. The film first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is being distributed by Yari Film Group. Nothing But the Truth will arrive in very limited theaters starting on December 19th before expanding wider throughout January. Interested at all?

Lurie's a former film critic. I really like his work and loved The Last Castle. His commentary on the DVD to Resurrecting the Champ is just great, as the guy is so open and honest about everthing.

I had to go check, but that voice in the trailer is David Schwimmer…because when I think of a spy thriller the first character that comes to mind is Ross from Friends

Anything where people throw stuff off a desk in a fit of rage gets the thumbs up from me, that shows real emotion. I threw up a little in my mouth watching the trailer. Reveal the source get em waterboarded and set on fire, end.

You couldn't prize the ticket money for this piece of shite from my cold dead hands.
Alex, please stop using words like 'Film of the Year' in regard to such utter tripe. You're better than that.

There's going to be a prison shower scene…right? They're going for the coveted 18-25 demographic right?

I love Kate so I'll prob check it out. Unless the reviews are terrible…then HBO is it.
Let it be known…once jail time entered the pic I would have ratted out my source so fast…
