Harrison Ford Joining J.J. Abrams' Produced Comedy?

Details are pretty sketchy on this, but according to MTV, Harrison Ford has joined a comedy called Morning Glory. The long-delayed project is being produced by J.J. Abrams and directed by Brit Roger Michell (according to EW in 2007) and supposedly stars Reese Witherspoon as a struggling female news producer in New York City who recruits an iconic, egotistical anchorman (presumably Ford) to revive a failing network's morning show. The script was written by Devil Wears Prada screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna. Ford has been rumored to be involved for a while, and only recently admitted to MTV that "I have a comedy that's been developed by J.J. Abrams… [But] we haven't sorted out which is first yet."
Here's where things get a bit confusing - Ford would only admit that the comedy was written "by the woman who wrote The Devil Wears Prada." That definitely means Morning Glory, but it sounds like it's still delayed, at least until Ford figures out which of the two projects he's doing next (the other being "a drama that I developed that talks about the pharmaceutical industry"). Reese Witherspoon and director Roger Michell were attached last year and we haven't heard anything from them since. Will this project still see the light of day with all four of the same people attached? Who knows, but I will say it sounds like a potentially great comedy with Ford involved and Witherspoon, too. What do you think?

I think it sounds like a good idea. I would really like to see Harry Ford in a role like this opposite reece. I hope they make it.

I think it sounds like 30 rock. I also think it sounds like the initial pitch of 30 rock that Tina Fey re-tooled.
