Check This Out: 40 Inspirational Speeches in 2 Minutes
December 15, 2008

by Alex Billington
What's the best inspirational speech you can think of? Is it Braveheart? Mighty Ducks maybe? How about Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday? Or from Lord of the Rings? Well, YouTube user Matthew Belinkie has put together a 2 minute video featuring a combined total of 40 inspirational speeches. Yes, it's impressive, especially when at the end all you want to do is cheer with everyone else. Normally we don't feature these kinds of videos, but I loved this one so much that I couldn't help sharing it with all of you today. As funny as it is, it's also just as inspirational as each and every one of the 40 speeches contained within it.
Even though even TIME wrote about this video, I owe a big thanks to SlashFilm for first pointing it out. Watching this made me just want to watch all of the 40 movies that these speeches came from. I could literally sit down and spend the next two weeks going through all of them with the knowledge that at some point I'll see an inspirational speech and cheer. I love these kinds of videos and I hope we get to see more of them this December. I really hope we get to see another year end compilation like this one as well.

Boy did I need this.
In the midst of finals week, when one has no time to watch movies (even for a cinema class), an inspirational speech from 40 of them gets you PUMPED.
Seriously, though, great find; I don't read TIME, so I depend on the likes of y'all and slashfilm for things like this.

I don't see how Billy Bob Thornton's speech in Friday Night Lights isn't the best speech of all time.
Kurt Russell as Herb Brooks runs a close second.

Wow, some of that was pretty corny. But it was fun.
Not really sure how that Pulp Fiction clip could be counted as an inspirational speech.
