Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, and Moby Starring in Suck?!

So there's a movie in the works called Suck starring Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, and Moby, amongst a few other real life rockers. Not only that, but it's a vampire satire about a group of rock 'n roll wannabes in search of immortality and a record deal. What the fuck is this Suck?! It's being written and directed by Canadian filmmaker Rob Stefaniuk, of only Phil the Alien previously. That cool looking poster image above comes from Bloody Disgusting, who adds that the film features an Eddie Van Helsing who hunts down vampires. I don't know much about Suck, but I know enough to say that this sounds badass!

In addition to the aforementioned Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, and Moby, both Carole Pope and Henry Rollins will also appear alongside of actors Jessica Paré, Malcolm McDowell and Dave Foley. Shooting is set to begin later this month although the film doesn't officially have a distributor yet. There really isn't much out there about this movie, but damn, it sounds fairly awesome. I'm a bit hesitant to jump on the vampire trend with Twilight due out in theaters soon, but considering the Twilight soundtrack is topping the charts and the film itself is poised to do gangbusters at the box office, I wouldn't mind seeing a vampire satire. I agree with #7. I'm a die-hard Henry Rollins fan. I've seen every movie he's ever been in. Which means, in all likelyhood, that Suck will suck. I love Rollins, but he's never been in any movie worth a damn.

i think i was an extra in this movie. i certainly hope i didn't dream it all. alice cooper is such a nice guy - that was a shock. but then, did any of this shite actually happen? whomever got this together was really on the ball. the diversity of the cast tells you what a dynamic offering this movie is... 'offering!?', was there an offering!? man, there was some bad-ass characters in this thing. the bar scene was surreal and EFFECTIVE!! seriously? it was way too vivid to have been a dream, so i'm going to just say that if the - wait a minute... if this was a movie, what are all these marks!? why do i feel so weak!? why am i wearing sunglasses when i haven't seen the sun in months? oh. i live in new brunswick???? well, that would explain the lack of sun. but all the marks!!??? ah, yes people that actually listen to fm radio - yeah, they're marks alright. 'classic rock!? how many times can you hear layla without blowing your gunnards out!!?? does one single person in toronto listen to the 'Q?' - i mean, elton john, david bowie!? - they are great artists but not classic rock artists!! OH I GET IT NOW!!! THIS WAS ALL A NIGHTMARE and we went to the bad place and had to listen to the 'Q' forever and it was really awful and our ears mercifully finally melted off our heads... - okay now!! enter all that canned laughter peculiar to only the dj booth on a 'Q' morning show. the REAL life sucking vampires? that's right fm d.j's.
