Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder Viral Video Spoof

Most of you have probably already seen this, but if not, here you go. This was one of the short skits created for the MTV Movie Awards last night. Ben Stiller works with Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. to create a viral marketing video for Tropic Thunder. I'll admit that this was probably one of the funniest skits I've seen, so despite my dislike for the MTV Movie Awards, this stuff ain't that bad! Not only is this just a hilarious video about Tropic Thunder, but it's actually mocking the real meetings that studio's have, where they try to figure out how to get in the mind of teens like Ben Stiller's nephew. Enjoy!

All of the Iron Man innuendo with Robert Downey Jr. is great and The Heartbreak Kid line was hilarious. Take that Ben Stiller - that movie sucked! Not that this video had any impact on my expectations, but I do have very high hopes for Tropic Thunder. I'm a sucker for good war movies and it looks like the perfect parody of one. The red band trailer was frickin' hilarious and all of the footage I've seen so far has been great. I think we're in for an end-of-the-summer treat come August 15th!

Tropic Thunder is directed by Ben Stiller (Zoolander) and written by Etan Cohen ("King of the Hill", Idiocracy) and well-known actor Justin Theroux (who also stars in the film). The movie stars Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Brandon T. Jackson, Jay Baruchel, and Steve Coogan. Tropic Thunder arrives in theaters everywhere on August 15th this summer.
