Bond Week: Jay Leno Drives Bond's Aston Martin DBS

I want one! One of the many things that James Bond is known for is, of course, amazing cars. In Quantum of Solace he drives a black Aston Martin DBS, one of the sleekest and best English sports cars around. This isn't the first time Bond's driven an Aston Martin, that was back in 1964 in Goldfinger, where he drove a DB5. Anyway, let's get down to the point - this car is a beauty and I want one. But because I don't have $250k just laying around, we'll let car aficionado Jay Leno show us the ropes. The video is from Jay Leno's Garage and features a full-on run down on the DBS and it features. Watching this only makes things worse, because he highlights everything about the car that makes it so damn amazing. Enjoy!
The only thing I'll say about the Aston Martin in Quantum of Solace is that it doesn't exactly stay unscathed, much like the Aston Martin in Casino Royale. It's very sad to see that happen to such a wonderful car, but you can at least have faith in knowing that Aston Martin will gladly make one of them for you to drive yourself, as long as you can shell out the cash. Otherwise, you'll have to live your dream through James Bond.
Quantum of Solace is directed by Marc Forster, of Monster's Ball, Finding Neverland, Stranger Than Fiction, and The Kite Runner previously. The screenplay was penned by both Robert Wade (Die Another Day, Johnny English, Casino Royale) and Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers, Casino Royale). This is the 22nd Bond film in the series that first began back in 1962 with Dr. No. Sony Pictures will be releasing Quantum of Solace in theaters on November 14th this year.
