Check This Out: Banned Zack and Miri Make a Porno Poster

The first glorious trailer for Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno finally hit on Tuesday to much enthusiasm and excitement. Luckily I get to see the film this coming Sunday in Toronto, only a short wait. To top off all that hype, we now have the first poster for the film as well - but there's a catch. This poster was banned in the US by the MPAA for it's content and is only being display up here in Canada. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, we got our grubby little hands on a high res version of it that you can see below. The design is pretty catchy and the poses are fairly simple, but it's the gimmick at the bottom that should really set you off. If you don't get it at first glance, just take a closer look at the very bottom of the poster.

Seth Rogen's face actually looks authentic, but Elizabeth Banks' really does not. Her eyes should be rolling, her back arching, and her mouth open enough for moans to come out. I hope all you kids actually understand what I'm talking about? If not, you'll get it one day. How about this for a poster?

Banned Zack and Miri Make a Porno Poster

Zack and Miri Make a Porno is both written and directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back). This marks Kevin Smith's 8th feature film and it's being distributed this fall by The Weinstein Company. Zack and Miri Make a Porno is currently set to arrive in theaters on October 31st.

Good poster, except they used Seth Rogan's head to look like someone doing oral on Elizabeth Banks.......But the the EXACT hair from the FRONT of his head!! makes no sense... Why didnt they just get a photo of the back of a head instead? I do not understand lazyness like that in photoshop... Still, the film looks good.

How they got away with showing WHAT exactly? They aren't showing anything, they are only implying it (and like Alex pointed out, they aren't implying it very well with Bank's pose.) That's a big difference and might just be how they "got away with it".

OMG! What's the big deal people!? It doesn't show anything, grow up. My god, you watch daytime tv and you see a hell of a lot worse on those retarded soaps. And the violence that's on regular tv, let alone cable. But yet kids watch that and it's ok. Ok #2 & #13... you REALLY need to smoke a big fatty boom batty and chill. It's a poster for a make believe movie, something funny to take peoples minds off all the REAL crap that goes on in this world. War, poverty, abuse, environment... I can't believe a poster is getting all this publicity, great for the movie and KSmith. No such thing as bad publicity in Hollywood. But... WOW!!! Just blows my mind man! Man, I dont understan why people are bitching about this movie already (Only reason I could see is if you're a middle age white person living under a rock or communist). This is going to be a great movie and I cant wait, the poster is like the cherry on top. C'mon it's kevin Smith, the one who had a donkey show in clerks 2. Plus what i'm really excited about is the cast; Jay, seth, and that black guy from the office! As a film student I believe these kind of original ideas is what hollywood needs right now because we are too caught up on reboots and comic book movies right now. Thank god for Kevin Smith. Oh and P.S. #2 stick to your sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 and Mama Mia because surely this movie wasn't intended for you and your puritan ideals.

This is the one of the movies where boys and men goes to the theater or buy Dvd's to watch and gets erection that goes overboard... lose their mind and finally ended up molesting or raping innocent women and children.. I think Zane #27 is right. Better put a stop to movies like this. Better stay safe than sorry. Media do have a strong influence at audience alot.
