Go Speed Racer Go Music Video!

This has got to be one of the catchiest theme songs ever! Warner Brothers has released the official music video for the newly revamped version of the Go Speed Racer Go theme song as performed by Ali Dee and the Deekompressors. It's a 3-minute video that features a lot of the greatest moments of the movie, so be warned, there are a lot of spoilers, but at least it's one of the coolest music videos you'll see. I'm hoping this will get a few of you much more excited for Speed Racer because it definitely keeps the excitement up. Check it out below!

Thanks to MySpace for originally debuting this. What I love about this music video, because we never usually mention them, is that it really captures the complete essence of the movie. It's fun, it's family friendly, yet it's energetic and the car scenes are incredible - and this video shows you that! This is probably one of the best examples of what you'll see in theaters on May 9th. I hope you enjoy this song and video as much as I did!

Speed Racer is written and directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski, directors of the Matrix trilogy and producers of V for Vendetta. The movie is based off of the Japanese manga and anime series originally known as Mach GoGoGo that first debuted in the 1960s. Speed Racer hits both regular and IMAX theaters this summer on May 9th - be there!

Wow what a great song. Video, not so much. This really does kind of ruin the film. Half way through I just scrolled down and listened to the rest of the song without the video. I've been seeing the trailer all day on tv and everytime I see anything about this movie I get excited. Thanks Alex.

I'm not feeling it. I keep trying to like the idea of this film but it's just not happening for me. I can't put my finger on why. Hopefully I'll be converted when I see it.
