Five brand new trailers today, and this one just happens to be the best. Or at least the craziest. If you thought the red band trailer for The Happening was disturbing, then you're going to really enjoy this one. By now we've all probably seen the first trailer for Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder, so now its time to debut something fresh - the hilarious red band trailer. This movie is going to be absolutely crazy and this trailer just gives you a little taste of what's to come. I'm certain this will probably jump to the top of your most anticipated summer movies once you see what they're offering. Tropic Thunder is directed by Ben Stiller (Zoolander) and written by Etan Cohen ("King of the Hill", Idiocracy) and well-known actor Justin Theroux (who also stars in the film). The movie stars Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Brandon T. Jackson, Jay Baruchel, and Steve Coogan. Tropic Thunder arrives in theaters everywhere on August 15th this summer.

Much better trailer than the first but I'm not quite sold yet. Love love Stiller for being different & making me laugh so many times with that straight up ballsy & uncomfortable comedy he delivers so consistently. However, I'm still waiting for that one special trailer to put us over the edge, much like "The Happening" trailer I just witnessed thanks to FS.net.

Wasn't expecting much in the first place..but the farting really turned me off from it..hate useless farting jokes..too crude. The rest was great, except for the farting I'm gonna agree with tommyturner (#8)

@Garrett.king I think the farting scene was an allusion to "the nutty professor 1 or 2" where Eddie Murphy plays every character on the dinner table just like Jack Black does it in the trailer. This trailer is just hillarious and i can't wait to see the movie.

Robert downey jr. is funny as hell. then he is now a blonde haired blue eyed guy who turned into a black, man...hilarious, he had be laughing so hard. stiller, definately put together a good one on this, and jack black, awesome looking. Over the top and hilarious, definately looking forward to it.

#11 Fart jokes done right and subtly are funny. Doing them in extreme bits of pointless, humorless moments is stupid. The severed head and such is alright because I have a morbid humor #12 and #15 Why would it allure to the nutty professor and norbit? Is there a specific reason why it would be an ode to it? Because to me it just seems like a scene that should be severely edited from the movie. Dunno though. I do know that I'll probably rent it instead of theater.

#25 They wanted to poke fun at eddie murphy, I don't know if its a grudge thing or whatever but it was okay. Anyway that trailer was really funny it just made it worth the $12 i'm going to throw out at Arclight.

Garrett, I wouldn't let the fart scene stop you from seeing this. I don't think the movie is going to revolve around that kind of humor. I think it's just that the Jack Black character is supposed to be the type of actor who makes those movies, so that scene is just to establish exactly what type of films he makes.

#25 If you haven't caught on yet, the movie is spoofing not only war movies in general, but movie star archetypes so yes Jack Black is sending up lame comedians and there awful films particulary Eddie Murphy's recent duds,while RDjr is obvisously mocking guys like Russell Crowe and even DeNiro to a certain extent both notorious 'Method Actors'. Let's run down the list... Ben Stiller = Shallow dimwitted action stars like the Arnold and Vin Diesel. Robert Downey = Anger challenged method actors like Crowe and Sean Penn. Jack Black = Well at this point Jack Black himself, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence. Brandon T. jackson = Stereotypical rapper wannabee actors like DMX and Ludachris.
