Must Watch: Full Red Band Zack and Miri Make a Porno Trailer!

The first full red band trailer for Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno has just hit and it's fantastic. I think we've got another Kevin Smith comedy classic in the makings. I'm sure by the time this hits in October, it's going to have huge buzz. Just watch this so that you know what I mean - because now that we've got all the big summer comedies out of the way, Zack and Miri is all that's left. I really don't think I need to explain the plot for this, because obviously it's about two friends named Zack and Miri who decide to make a porno - enough said. So with that introduction and with some emphasis, I suggest you drop everything and fire this trailer up right now and enjoy.

Thanks to IGN for debuting this trailer for our viewing pleasure. I'm already incredibly excited to see this and will be doing my damnest to make sure I catch it up in Toronto in the next few weeks.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno is both written and directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back). This marks Kevin Smith's 8th feature film and it's being distributed this fall by The Weinstein Company. Zack and Miri Make a Porno is currently set to arrive in theaters on October 31st.

I liked it. BTW, if anyone was wondering why Jason Mewes sounded funny, it was stated on Kevin Smith's podcast that Mewes had all his teeth pulled out just before filming and was wearing temporary dentures that gave him a lisp.

Way out of the mainstream! I like Kevin Smith but the idea is- when you make a movie for a studio They actually would like it to make money! This will be lucky if it grosses 35 mil at best. It might be very funny, but going by that trailer it will alienate 90% of the mainstream audience. Some of these guys just keep pushing the envelope to the point were the only people who will be seeing there movies is there close friends and family members, and only because they have to!

Okay, the part about the Rosio O'Donnell tape is funny, but seriously? Would any of you be sick enough to see that beast get fucked? Now back to the subject: Rogen is hilarious, and I am becoming a fan of Craig Robinson who is great in both The Office and Pineapple Express. I have enjoyed every Kevin Smith movie I've seen and this one looks worthwhile. More so than Clerks 2.

@ 21 I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Mark my words, this will be the highest grossing film of Kevin Smith's career. I'm estimating a $60mil gross at least.

#21: Smith doesn't want to be Judd Apatow (they got friendly on a panel at the San Diego Comic Con 2008), let alone mainstream. He's his own man, and I admire him for that (I got a script that might be good for him to direct, but I'll reveal nothing!!!) With Rogen as a lead (I knew those two were together after seeing "Superbad"), Smith'll make the film's budget back ($25 mil).

It looks funny but how is it any different than the film The Amateurs aka The Moguls with Jeff Bridges that came out in 2005? That was about a bunch of people in a town who make a porno. It's a good film you should see it if you haven't. I think this will be good,I like Kevin Smith, but it's not original.

SMH at responsee numero 21. What a fukkin' prude. Wall E should be out on DVD around the time this movie hits the cinemas. With that said, Kevin Smith could give two hoots about mainstream audiences. His films are an aquired taste and him aim isn't to please the mainstream masses. In street vernacular, Kev. Smith is what you would refer to as, "keepin' it real". Fukk selling out to make a couple bucks. Film is hysterical and au contraire to what you may believe, I see this pulling in huge numbers (25-30 mil first weekend easy). And just because i know there are naysayers like you who always attempt to belittle such stellar theatrical releases, i'm gonna push this one heavy for kevin - induce my own viral marketing campaign on facebook and myspace. You have no idea how potent those bulletin boards on the social network sites are. BLADOW MOTHAFUKKA!!! We need more of these crass, raunchy, envelope-pushing (but tastefully done) films being produced. Let's taint the world, one film at a time...

#50, it's a movie. Get over it. It's fictional, it's entertainment. If you don't like it, stop whinging and just don't see it. Each to their own. Is YOUR mother in this? The family of those involved in this movie, I'm sure, won't be half as upset about it as you seem to be for them. As I said, it's fictional - they're playing pretend peop;e doing pretend things in a scripted environment. They're not actually having naughty fun times on camera, you know that, right? Honestly, it doesn't even look that much cruder than anything else making its way onto the big screen these days. You get movies made for my age-group with as much, if not more sexual stuff than this. If you're such an important member of society, then why are you defending your honor with such childish backchat? You sound like a five-year-old. It's one thing to make mother jokes (which are funny, mind) but it's another thing to bite back with the exact same remarks after someone else has started on 'em. Instead of making snotty comments about each others' mothers, why don't you focus on the film or, if you don't like said film, just stop thinking about it and talking about it; move on to another site that caters more for your tastes. So what do I think. I'm fairly impartial to Kevin Smith at this point, but this film does look really funny. I'm bias towards Rogen though, so we'll just have to see, I guess. Either way, I'll definitely see it in the theater, not wait for DVD or whatever.
