Must Watch: Second Trailer for Ridley Scott's Body of Lies

Warner Brothers has debuted the second full trailer for Ridley Scott's Body of Lies, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. It's about a former journalist who is hired by the CIA to track down an Al Qaeda leader in Jordan. Officially, this looks like a vast improvement over the first trailer. Now it finally really looks like Ridley Scott film that could end up being one of the best of the year. There's now a very interesting political tinge in the trailer where they seem to be mocking America, but I love it, I love seeing the thrilling and gritty reality that Scott brings. And I said this the first time, too, but the dynamic between DiCaprio and Crowe looks fantastic. I really can't wait to see this and I hope I'm not the only one excited!

Body of Lies is directed by legendary filmmaker Ridley Scott, of everything from Alien to Blade Runner to Gladiator to Black Hawk Down to Kingdom of Heaven American Gangster. The script was written by Oscar-winning screenwriter William Monahan, of Kingdom of Heaven and The Departed, and is based off of the book of the same name written by David Ignatius. Warner Brothers will release Body of Lies in theaters everywhere on October 10th this fall.

WOW!! that looks freaking amazing!! I dont know if any of you are Vince Flynn fans but his mitch rapp series would be great to put on film. this trailer looks just like one of his books.:) Alex, hear anything about that?

The first trailer bored me and caused what little interest I had of watching the movie, to be taken away. This one, however, is MUCH better. I won't be there opening day but I'll definitely check it out that weekend.

thank god the 2nd trailer....much better ....it was going to awesome regardless of the trailer...but they can watch this ...and say ...WHOA. that's right...a great trio.

Crowe and Scott sure are bum buddies...You have expect Denzel to make an appearance as well. But I will make sure to see it because they work well together...and Leo has been getting better and better and better...can't wait

seems too predictable and like i got most of the film from the trailer. this story doesn't seem unique to me, and thus i am bored a bit by it. i do like their interactions though, so i may see it for that reason.

i think scott wants us to think crowe is the bad guy... the one who sells out on dicaprio! but wouldnt that be too obvious for a movie that deals with international espionage? i think the story is what will make this movie inspite of the awe-inspiring special effects. i think the story will be layered and far more complex than what the trailer reveals. only then will the movie be more interesting than the trailer. but the Trailer looks great!

Looks lke a mix of Blood Diamod and Black Hawk down. Not thrilling and not involving. Ill still see this on the release date but lets not get hopes up high.
