Pathology Internet Trailer

I promise this is the last time we'll run a trailer for Pathology - and this last one is worth it. I just watched The Ruins last night and I have to say it caused me to appreciate Pathology even more. I saw this a few weeks back in Los Angeles and thought it was very well made, despite being incredibly disturbing. It's insane - often times disgusting, other times interesting, but nevertheless still a creation of pure madness. I would suggest it only to those who are willing to brave it and venture into one of the most insane cinematic "experiences" you'll ever discover. So give this trailer one last shot and leave a comment below.

Some say that Pathology is a window to God. As doctors, they see the perversion and corruption of the flesh by all means unnatural…by violence…by toxin…by madness…to determine the cause of death. As a result they are the experts in all signs of foul play and the best in the field can uncover all means of killing, even those that are seemingly undetectable.

Pathology is directed by German filmmaker Marc Schoelermann and written by Crank writers/directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor - the craziest duo in all of Hollywood. The film arrives in theaters on April 18th. If you're up for something truly insane - you won't want to miss this!

I just cant get interested in this film...it seems so lacking in imagination and creativity...jmo...maybe it wil be a hit after all...

lacking imagination and creativity... dude you got to admit it looks pretty original
  • This didn't go straight-to-dvd how again?

My two problems with this film are: 1) It's from the creators of Crank, and my god... that was terrible. 2) It looks like it's teetering on the edge of torture porn and splatterfests, which are terrible beyond words.
  • When I was in grade 9 and we did a career aptitude test, my main result was Pathologist, so just the idea of pathology interests me (I pursued the career of Pathologist for sometime until I discovered what was needed to get there...lets just say it isn't easy). I think this looks interesting, but I too hated, even despised Crank. I will be there for sure though. Hopefully it doesn't let me down. I do like blood, dead bodies and creative killings. Color me excited!

I think thsi idea looks fresh and interesting. I see a mix of crank and seven with the non-stop rising action and twisted concepts. I can't see how anyone could say this looks "boring" or not unique because I'd never heard of a film based on pathology before this one. It'll also be refreshing to see if Milo can really act rather than the special effects frenzied 'Heroes 'which is more of an abstract style of filming rather than this which seems like realism...twisted realism, but realism nonetheless.

Stop it Alex! I saw a screener of this film. Alex apparently really liked it, I think it's just okay. This is where personal taste kicks in. If you ask me, it's just your regular B+ film. Only sometimes it gets interesting. Worth your money on DVD only.
  • Ralph - a B+ is exactly what I'd give it! That's a pretty good rating. I didn't love it (I don't think anyone can?), but I thought it was okay... It was well-made, that's the most I'll give it. And how did you watch a screener - I don't think they have any made at all...
