Rock the Vote: Choose Your Favorite Notorious Poster

September 30, 2008
Source: Nah Right

Fox Searchlight is asking for your help in choosing the best poster for their upcoming film Notorious. If you need a refresher, it's the upcoming movie about the life and death of rapper Notorious B.I.G. We launched a teaser trailer for it about a week ago. Even if you're not a big fan of the actual movie, it's still fun to check out these designs and make a quick choice on which one you think is better. Give it a shot, all you need to do is click the link below and vote on the Fox Searchlight site. And let us know which one(s) you think are best in a comment as well. I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts on these three posters.

My own personal vote went to the one on the left. I like all of them, but that one really stood out the most. And it would be something that I wouldn't mind having up on my wall if I were a Notorious B.I.G. fan.

Notorious Posters

Notorious is directed by producer and filmmaker George Tillman Jr., of Soul Food and Men of Honor previously. The screenplay was written by Reggie Rock Bythewood (Get on the Bus, Biker Boyz) and Cheo Hodari Coker. Fox Searchlight is distributing Notorious and will be premiering it in limited theaters starting on January 16th, 2009. Anyone already planning on seeing this in theaters?

the one on the left has biggie written all over it. thats my favorite out of the three
  • Darunia
    3rd one.
  • bret
i like the simple dramatic feel of the 3rd. I would have voted for that one anyone, but voting ended apparently.
  • Richard
I like the one that isn't about this movie
  • The Delightful Deviant
3rd one looks too much like Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. i like the first one personally.
  • Ray
    1st one!
  • Sean
    Definently the 3rd one.
  • john
the first is the best for a primary poster but the third could be used as a secondary
  • MCab
The third, but they need to replace those awkward looking sunglasse.
  • Frame
Even with the name "Notorious" over it the 3rd one can easily be mistaken for another type of movie; a mob flick for instance. As #1 said, the 1st one screams Biggie from a mile away. The 2nd one is less subtle... throw it out.

spoiler: he dies in the end...
  • First one, easily. The third one is passable. Burn the second one. Then fire whoever designed it. Unless the same person designed all three. In that case you should congratulate him for 2/3rds of a job well done.

First! The poster, not the comment.
  • whateva
how 'bout none.....can't believe this movie even got made. what a waste!
  • Chad
Sorry, the correct answer is "who gives a shit"
  • who's next? lil wayne?
  • Haha, I kind of like the second one if the background was darker, so by a hair, I would go for the first. The third one I think is awful, it is way too generic and doesn't say much about the movie.

ALEX!!! Way un-cool to utilize "Rock the Vote" here. Rock the Vote is to get young and old all over the nation to register to VOTE! VOTE in the most important election in the last 100 years. For PRESIDENT. Not not lame thug rap movie. Bad FORM Mr. Billington!

it took too long for me 2 notice that biggie was the "i" in the 2nd one so that's out, and the third one u can't really tell if that was him him if u haven't heard of the movie yet, so i'd hafta say the 1st
