Samm Levine Joins Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards, Too
Who is Samm Levine? Besides playing Neal Schweiber on Judd Apatow's "Freaks and Geeks", he's been in everything from "Undeclared" to Club Dread to Sydney White. His face is very recognizable if you've seen him in anything and he's going to most likely be playing the baby-faced soldier in Tarantino's epic. In our on-going casting coverage of Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards, the guys over at Ain't It Cool News have discovered that Levine will be joining the ranks of the Nazi-killers that already include Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, and B.J. Novak. Additionally, the originally rumored David Krumholtz won't be able to join due to scheduling issues. This is shaping up to be a truly unforgettable cast, that's for sure.
As much as I wish we could just reveal the entire line-up for Inglorious Bastards, we've got to wait for them all one by one. Levine is the latest and I do believe it's another inspired choice, which is why I continue to mention how unforgettable this cast already is (and we've got so many more to go). Even Mike Myers, who I don't personally like, will probably turn out being a brilliant choice, although at this point I'm still unhappy with that announcement. Tropic Thunder is such a perfect example of a war movie that has a diverse yet perfect cast. Part of that movie was making fun of the typical fat guy and typical young kid that are usually always in war movies, and so on. But it's that kind of inspiration that makes me so much more excited to see what Tarantino is putting together with Inglorious Bastards. Thoughts?
