Stand-Up Comedian Cameos in Funny People Revealed

It's starting to look more and more like Judd Apatow's Funny People will be the ultimate stand-up comedian movie that may be a new comedy classic. As everyone already knows, Adam Sandler stars in the film as a stand-up comic and is joined by fellow comedians Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill. In addition to those two, however, a handful of other stand-up comics will make a cameo, as SlashFilm has discovered today. Dave Attell, Sarah Silverman, Norm MacDonald, and Andy Dick will all have cameos in the film, potentially as themselves. Attell revealed that the scene was shot quickly and was highly improvised.
I know we're giving Funny People a lot of love very early on, but it's hard not to when it just sounds like a genuinely fantastic film. Apatow has continually outdone himself with his own films, starting with 40 Year Old Virgin and followed by Knocked Up. Now he's making a movie about stand-up comics, a past that he's very familiar with. I'm actually a big fan of Dave Attell and love Sarah Silverman and Andy Dick as well. Norm MacDonald is also a hilarious guy and has been missing from movies for a while as well. It'll be great to see these four back on the big screen, even if it's just for a quick cameo. Bring on the Funny People!
