    i haven't seen it, so maybe that's why i don't get it. but did some people think wall-e was a girl?...
  • Sorry, guys. This comic is more effective as a one/two punch when paired with the strip from last Monday: http://www.theaterhopper.com/index.php?date=20080623 I was sidetracked somewhat by a bout with acute tonsillitis before going to Wizard World Chicago last Thursday. So the timing is off a little bit. Regular mayhem to follow!

    Ohhhhh I get it- wasn't even thinking about that other strip- although this strip makes since on its own I think- I mean robots are not not physically gendered (excepting theoretical 'sex bots' of course) so it's silly when they are created with a gendered disposition and even sillier when someone makes a mistake and thinks that a robot has the opposite gendered disposition as its creators intended.
