Two New Hilarious Stoned Pineapple Express Posters

The last time we debuted the poster for Pineapple Express, the response was unanimously positive. I've uncovered two new hilarious posters for the film that feature both Seth Rogen and James Franco in the same vein as Judd Apatow's previous one-sheets (for 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up). You should already know that this film is entirely about two stoners who get wrapped up in a mob murder, which is why it's so wonderfully perfect to see posters with Rogen and Franco stoned out of their minds! We already know Rogen is a hilarious actor, but Franco looks like he's going to surprise everyone with just how ridiculously funny he is. The summer season definitely looks like it'll end with some awesome comedies!

Lazy stoner Dale Denton (Seth Rogen) has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco): to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city's most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him. And it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they're not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. All aboard the Pineapple Express.

Pineapple Express is directed by David Gordon Green (of Snow Angels, Undertow, All the Real Girls) and written by the trio of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Judd Apatow (naturally). Express follows Rogen and Franco as they get stoned, run from cops, crash cars and fire guns. No further explanation needed. The stoner revival begins this summer on August 8th.

erm. these aren't really hilarious posters..kinda creepy actually..especially with Franco there... CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FILM..but..posters aren't a selling point for me.

the posters do not really sell the movie, but it doesn't matter, becasue the trailer did. it's absolutley hilarious and thats why ill be there the to see the matinee

I think it's about time there is a crack down (pardon pun) on these drug comedies. the pictures are NOT funny, they just show two guys looking in a state from the drugs they have taken. a movie poster will be banned if it has too many guns etc. in it. but to show two film actors pretending to be stoned is ok???? bad message me thinks

Hahahahah how funny, people getting stoned. Great going on the War on Drugs you guys. I agree with dan. Movies show people getting high and "having fun", and everybody's laughing. Then when movies like Requiem for a dream or Kids come along, everybody gets shocked because they're too crude and realistic.

Since when are pictures of two stoned guys "hilarious"? What's so funny about it? Hilarious - "marked by or causing boisterous merriment or convulsive laughter" If someone sees these posters and experiences convulsive laughter, they must be high themselves. These posters are just dumb.

wow.... surprised by the amount of negative feedback for this flick. its a stoner comedy. its not going to change the world one way or the other. half baked didnt. its a movie. movies arent real.... otherwise i would have been killed by the cloverfield monster.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO... pumped for this film... if for no other reason, I can sit in there ni the theatre and enjoy it and think to myself.. "I better there are a bunch of people that don't like pothead films like this, and I HOPE MY EFFORTS TO HELP IT DO WELL PISSES THEM OFF."

Sorry dusty, your efforts to 'help' PE does not piss off POT[m] (People Overly-tired of poT movies- better anagram forthcoming) we couldn’t care less how many pot movies are made- we only ask that the underappreciated comedy genre does not come to really solely on the humor inherent in hungry slow-witted slackers.

it's a clever rendition of the image-centric posters of the apatow comedies. the people themselves can sell the movie . see: the 40 year-old virgin, knocked up, superbad. all the posters just show the characters being characters without revealing anything in the movie. the fact that images of them alone plus minimal text can help make such bank is astounding...deservedly so too. looks like a great movie. all those who expressed negativity about drugs, stop; you're not making a difference. you will not make a difference. don't judge people or movies. you're in no position to do so...unless sneebee7 is a congressman? and if he is, he must be a toker too..."watching these posters"?? you "watch" posters?

You know the Seth Rogan films in general are funny but they are essentially just hashing a lot of the same now. This is more a wait to rent for me.

I am still surprised that these posters have not been banned. They say "smoke some dope, feel great, chilled and watch our funny film which shows the great effects of smoking dope" Is this film trying to make money off the people who can relate to the story, i.e all of those druggies out there. I know let's make a film for the druggies, by the druggies and to encourage more druggies in a world that is already dope sodden. Dan

Uhm, sorry im really late but i just search engined this movie and this is what came up .. anyway, THIS WAS THE BEST AND MOST FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER. ps, james franco is so HOT.
