It Has Arrived - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Super Bowl Trailer!
This here is the crème de la crème! Paramount has debuted their first teaser trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that will be showing during the Super Bowl tomorrow. We've been waiting years to finally see this footage and damn it doesn't let down one bit. There are more robots being debuted in this 30 seconds than there were in all of the first Transformers! Well, not really, but the bots we do get to see in this TV spot should have some Transformers fans screaming for joy. I think I can say that the only reason I'm sticking around to watch the big game tomorrow is to see this in glorious high definition. Check it out!

Pixar's Adventures with Carl and Russell - Animal Calls
In connection with their Super Bowl TV spot tomorrow, Disney / Pixar have unveiled a new clip from Up as part of their new series titled Adventures with Carl and Russell. In case you didn't already know, Carl and Russell are the two main characters in the film. Russell, a wilderness explorer who inadvertently ends up joining Carl on his trip to South America, is missing only one last merit badge - "Assisting the Elderly." I will admit that this kid is very annoying, but I think that's part of the story, somewhat of a combination of coming-of-age and still learning to live life at an old age. Enjoy this newest clip from Pixar's Up!

Whedon's Cabin in the Woods Expands Its Cast, Or Does It?
Joss Whedon's The Cabin in the Woods has already found a couple cast members in Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford, and now Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that the top secret Whedon/Goddard team-up is adding Jena Malone to its ranks. Malone has seen her fair share of genre work in films such as Donnie Darko and The Ruins. Bill Nighy is also rumored to be a part of the cast. But wait! Are we being played by the players themselves?! Joss Whedon posted the following on his official website regarding this most recent casting news, sending out his own misinformation about the project, and a Serenity sequel.

Universal's Fast and Furious Super Bowl TV Spot
Given we've already seen two full trailers, there's not much new footage we're going to see in this Fast & Furious Super Bowl TV spot. Plus they're still using the film's biggest selling points - women, cars, and Vin Diesel / Paul Walker. So that you can get this one out of the way, we've also got the new TV spot for Fast & Furious early. There's not much more to say, so fire this one up if you're excited to check it out. Despite my own lack of interest in this TV spot, I'm still going to see Fast & Furious once it hits theaters.

Extended Super Bowl Sneak Peek at Harold Ramis' Year One
They just keep coming today! An extended clip that is supposedly the new Super Bowl TV spot for Year One has just popped up via YouTube. Considering this is our very first look at any footage from the film, I thought it would be worth featuring even if it isn't the Super Bowl TV spot in the end. In this clip you'll see Jack Black as Zed and Michael Cera as Oh, two lazy hunter-gatherers, who encounter David Cross as Cain and Paul Rudd as Abel. To be honest, I didn't really laugh once during this clip at all, but I've got a feeling this is just a very small sample of the kind of humor we'll see in Year One. Check it out!

First Look at the Land of the Lost Super Bowl TV Spot!
Another brand new first look at footage from Universal's Land of the Lost has debuted early. Will Ferrell and Danny McBride star together in this prehistoric adventure based on the 1970's TV show. This is supposed to be clearly very cheesy , as that is what the original TV show was like, but honestly, this is starting to remind me a bit too much of Journey to the Center of the Earth, even though it's not in 3D. It could be fun but it's also looking way too stupid. Some people like that kind of comedy, I don't. And it looks like Will Ferrell is just playing himself yet again, which I'm also getting tired of seeing. Thoughts?

Producer Brad Fuller Talks Friday Sequel, Elm Street Reboot
As Jason Voorhees polishes his hockey mask and sharpens his machete in preparation for Friday the 13th's return to cinema come the 13th of February, Bloody Disgusting spoke with Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller about a potential sequel to this latest Friday the 13th, the reboot of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and even the possibility of Freddy vs Jason 2. It's to be expected that talks of a sequel to the upcoming Friday the 13th film are stewing even before its release -- with that franchise attacking its twelfth installment, it's almost insured. But, of course, even serious sequel talks hinge on Jason's success at the box office.

Must Watch: Full G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra Super Bowl TV Spot!
Well that didn't take too long! ComingSoon has debuted the full 30-second TV spot for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra - which gives us our first-ever glimpse at finished footage from the upcoming G.I. Joe movie. I'll admit I'm very impressed by the look of this. Sure, it may be incredibly over-the-top, even pushing heavily into the cheesy range of things, but that's part of why this look so damn good. That's what G.I. Joe is known for (remember those cheesy cartoons?) and I expect this to just be ridiculously fun. What more could you ask for?! All of the action looks quite epic and exciting and that's what I just want to see. Enjoy!

Mickey Rourke Joining Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Broken Horses
Mickey Rourke has been taking advantage of his Wrestler fame quite a bit with casting announcements popping up every week. A lot of the roles he's been given he definitely deserves, but occasionally they seem like a stretch. The latest to add to his ever-growing list is a gangster film called Broken Horses, which will be the Hollywood debut of Indian (aka Bollywood) filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He is one of India's best-known filmmakers and is coming to America to make Broken Horses, with Rourke playing one of the key roles. Nothing more is known about the story, which is an original idea from Chopra.

Here It Is - First Real Footage from G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra!
It's rare that I write about something that will become obsolete in under 48 hours, but today I'm making a big exception. Entertainment Tonight has debuted a less-than-10-second teaser for the new G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra teaser that will be showing during the Super Bowl on Sunday (tomorrow). Normally I'd just let this slide because we're seeing the final footage so soon afterwards, but not this. Everyone needs to see this. This is one of those moments where I finally get to say "I told you so!" While this isn't much, and I need to see it clearer, this brief bit of footage definitely looks awesome. I can't wait to see more on Sunday!

Samuel Goldwyn Acquires Paul Giamatti's Cold Souls
In a post-Sundance purchase, the Samuel Goldwyn Company has acquired the US distribution rights to Cold Souls. The film is written and directed by Sophie Barthes and stars Paul Giamatti as himself. Not only am I glad to report this news because it means those of you looking forward to the film will eventually get to see it in theaters, but it gives me an opportunity to talk about it briefly since I didn't review it during the fest. Agree or not, the film draws a lot of comparisons to anything from Charlie Kaufman and especially Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but it's still a very unique and entertaining story of its own.
