Badass X-Men Origins: Wolverine Teaser Poster Revealed!
January 30, 2009
by Alex Billington
Just days before the Super Bowl, Fox has finally unveiled the first official teaser poster for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which you can see below. There's not much I need to say, because this looks pretty badass. But then again, it's not that hard to take a photo of Wolverine and throw him on a poster and make him look badass. But this is the kind of poster I'd love to have up on my wall, no matter how good or how bad the movie turns out in the end. Don't forget that there is also a new TV spot for Wolverine that we'll see this Sunday during the Super Bowl, so stay tuned for that as well! Check out the new poster below!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is directed by South African filmmaker Gavin Hood, of the Oscar winner Tsotsi and Rendition previously. The script was written by veteran screenwriter David Benioff, of 25th Hour, Troy, and The Kite Runner previosuly. The character of Wolverine was first created by Len Wein and John Romita Sr. back in 1974. Fox will debut X-Men Origins: Wolverine in theaters on May 1st, 2009.

"Should I call you Logan, Weapon X?"
"No, Wolverine! Snicky, snicky, snoine."
Any mention of Wolverine always triggers that scene from Mallrats in my head…

B-A-D-A-S-S. Maybe this will turn out pretty cool and awesome. Can't wait for the teaser on Sunday and the movie itself on May 1st. Good or bad, Jackman is always kick-ass as Wolverine.

The claws seem way too much photoshopped, specially near the hand. I don't like this.

i like the way they create posters now, it's sweet and simple. six years ago the advertisement would say something like "hugh jackman in x-men origins wolverine" and it would say "coming to theaters may 5, 2009" now its just a simple face, no title becuase everyone knows it already, and simply May 1 or 5.01.09… that's just about the only good thing about this movie
