First Look: Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Scott Pilgrim

And the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World news just doesn't stop! We've already written about it twice this last week and today we've got another debut. Edgar Wright has posted a photo on his MySpace blog of the lovely Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays Ramona V. Flowers in the film. The story follows Scott Pilgrim, played by Michael Cera, who is a Canadian slacker and wanna-be rockstar that falls in love with an American delivery girl named Ramona V. Flowers, the same one we see above and below, but must defeat her seven evil exes in order to date her. If you've been waiting for your first look, well, this is sort of it.

I think I'm in love, too! Back when we announced that Winstead had been cast, I proclaimed that "this is a dream come true!" And looking at her peeking out over the cover like that just makes me squirm with excitement. The more I see and hear about Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the more excited I get. I think casting Cera and Winstead was perfect, and this just proves I was right. Well, this sort of proves it, as we'll have to wait to see her in action, but I expect her to be great. Plus this has convinced me to pick up all 5 of the issues of the comic, including Scott Pilgrim Volume 5, which hit shelves last week. Excited?

Such a good casting choice. Not even just because of looks, but Mary has this presence about her that just demands your attention.

At first I hated her. Mostly due to the rage in me from hating Die hard 4 so much. But this picture, is pretty spot on to well at least the upper face region. Can't wait to see her in her characters cloths.
