Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins to Star in Woody Allen's Next
February 11, 2009
by Alex Billington
Woody Allen is unquestionably one of the most hardworking fiilmmakers around. The moment he nears completion on one film, he's already completely geared up to start production on another. And this is after already making an unbelievable 42 films since 1966. Allen has already found the two stars for newest secret and currently untitled project, that will be shooting in London this upcoming summer. Veteran actors Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins have both joined and are only the first two in the speculated ensemble cast. Unfortunately we have no clue what the plot will be about, or any other details, so stay tuned for more.
At the moment, I'm looking forward to seeing Woody Allen's Whatever Works with Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood. I'm probably more excited to see that than I have ever been for one of his films. As for Hopkins, he is unquestionably a great actor, but he hasn't done anything recently that's really stood out. What was the last thing you saw him in where he was very memorable? Hopefully Woody makes him push his limits and/or do something fun again, but who knows if it's even a comedy? As for Brolin, I don't think I need to say anything about him anymore, considering he's become an Oscar nominated actor in no time.

Who cares what the plot will be? Sir Anthony Hopkins. Enough said! I have to admit, after "W" Brolin has some chops. Very cool news!
