Official Crank: High Voltage UK Trailer Debut
February 24, 2009

by Alex Billington
A brand new short 'n sweet 60-second trailer for Crank: High Voltage just debuted this morning over on Empire and because I love any and everything Crank, I'm featuring it below. It's basically a shorter version of the same trailer we've seen before, but it's worth watching again, just so so we can all be reminded of how badass this will be. I don't really care if people think this looks terrible, because I think it looks awesome, just downright ridiculous over-the-top fun. Jason Statham is a certified British badass and I can't wait to see him return as Chev Chelios yet again, especially when he requires electrical shocks to stay alive. Enjoy!
Watch the UK trailer for Crank: High Voltage:
In this high-octane sequel, hitman Chev Chelios launches himself on an electrifying chase through Los Angeles in pursuit of the Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart.
Crank: High Voltage is both written and directed by visionary filmmakers Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the two crazy guys behind Crank and the upcoming Game. The film was produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and is being distributed by Lionsgate. Mark and Brian shot this entirely handheld with consumer and prosumer digital video cameras, which should make for quite an interesting experience. Crank 2: High Voltage arrives in theaters everywhere on April 17th. Get ready for a shock!
