Must Watch: Awesomely Epic New Star Trek Trailer Hits!
This is the trailer we've all been waiting for! Paramount has debuted the second official trailer for Star Trek this weekend and it's quite incredible. While we've seen an excessive amount of new trailers this week, but this one easily takes the cake. I really think J.J. Abrams pulled it off, and I can't wait to see how much more is in this than we get to see in this trailer. This is quite an epic trailer and it should give a lot of you guys chills, especially if you're a die-hard Star Trek fan. This is the kind of movie that makes me believe in the power of truly exceptional filmmakers who go into a project with a real love for storytelling.

Mongol's Sergei Bodrov Directing The Last Photograph
Way back in 2007 we wrote about a project called The Last Photograph that Zack Snyder was developing with the Hollywood Gang about "a photograph that becomes the catalyst for a journey two men undertake through war-torn Afghanistan." We haven't heard much since then, but today Warner Brothers announced that Sergei Bodrov (seen above), of the Kazakhstan-set movie Mongol last year, will direct The Last Photograph. The story was developed by Zack Snyder as an original idea and scripted by Kurt Johnstad, who helped write 300. Zack and his wife Debbie Snyder will produce as will Gianni Nunnari.

Check This Out: Crazy Teaser Poster for Pandorum!
Although we already debuted the teaser trailer for Pandorum earlier in the week, there wasn't a poster to go along with it. Well, there was a poster, as this one below was an exclusive WonderCon poster that Overture gave away at that con, but until now, I haven't seen it online in good quality. Last year when we shared the first few photos from this sci-fi thriller, we only had a small poster with a ship on it that looked pretty cool. This is what they've whipped up to replace that one. I actually like the direction their marketing is going - it's not too sc-fi and it's not too horror, it's a good balance between the two.

Hilarious Teaser Trailer for Vegas Comedy The Hangover
Warner Brothers has debuted a short teaser trailer for their upcoming summer comedy The Hangover, starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms. You've probably never heard of this movie, just like me before today, but this is the perfect way to introduce you to it. The Hangover is one of those comedies about a night gone horribly wrong in Las Vegas. You've heard the horror stories, now they're coming to life. These three guys end up with way more than they bargained for going in, as you'll see, and it's pretty damn funny. Though the best part is easily Mike Tyson. Yes, he's even in this, too!

Mark Wahlberg Joins Another Boston Project - Prisoners
Not only do I love movies set in Boston (e.g. The Departed, Gone Baby Gone, What Doesn't Kill You), but I actually still love Mark Wahlberg, too, so seeing those two together again is such a joy for me! Wahlberg is attached to star in a dark thriller called Prisoners that is apparently one of the hottest scripts in Hollywood at the moment. It was written by newcomer Aaron Guzikowski, a Brooklyn native who literally broke into the business this week with this project. No studio is involved yet, but talent agency Endeavor is packaging the project and looking to secure a director before they start pitching around to studios.

Worth Watching - Mar 5: Jim Jarmusch's The Limits of Control Trailer
A few weeks ago we featured a batch of first look photos from Jim Jarmusch's The Limits of Control, an indie film that we have since been following closely. Focus Features has unveiled the official trailer for the film today, and it's definitely worth checking out. The Limits of Control stars "24's" Isaach De Bankolé as a "mysterious loner, a stranger in the process of completing a criminal job." Also appearing alongside of Bankolé is Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Gael García Bernal, and Paz de la Huerta. This isn't exactly a hard-hitting trailer, and takes a bit to really soak in, but I still got a very good feeling from it.

Is Anyone Excited for Josh Brolin's Jonah Hex?
I came across an interesting update on Hero Complex today, where writer Geoff Boucher had relayed an enthusiastic response that Josh Brolin gave him on the red carpet at the Oscars. When asked about Jonah Hex, Brolin replied: "I feel great about it. I feel better than I thought I would be feeling... So things are going spectacular, really. I'm glad to see it." As he goes on to say, this is nearly the complete opposite feeling that Brolin had just last year, when he told MTV that the script was awful. This isn't much of an update, but I thought it'd be the perfect time to actually ask if anyone is even interested in Jonah Hex?

Lazy George Miller Making Mad Max 4 as Anime Instead
So here's how the career of Australian director George Miller goes. He starts out in 1979 directing Mad Max, follows it up with Mad Max 2 in 1981, follows that up with Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome in 1985, then starts his downhill trend and directs The Witches of Eastwick, then in 1998 he reaches his all-time low, Babe: Pig in the City, and for his most recent film, he goes animated with Happy Feet. With all the trouble he had getting Justice League off the ground, you'd think he'd try and do something to prove himself again, but nope. Well, he did decide to make Mad Max 4, but there's a catch - it's going to be animated.

Another New Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Trailer!
These new trailers just don't stop! Warner Brothers has unveiled a very dark and very powerful new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer today, to go along with everything else released this week. Thankfully, this trailer makes me completely forget that it's rated PG, which is a very good thing because it was my only major worry. I'm sure we will all forget about that sitting in theaters in July. This also looks so phenomenally epic, even more than the last five movies before it, which makes me so very excited. I really love all the Harry Potter movies and can't wait to see this one! Only 4 and a half months left to go.

Hugo Weaving Back in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
But what is his role? Ah, only true Transformers fans may know this? In Transformers in 2007, Hugo Weaving provided the voice of Megatron. For a while it was thought that Megatron wouldn't return in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, with Michael Bay even going as far as to flat out say that Megatron is not in it. But Weaving revealed to the Australian site AdelaideNow that he is returning and that he has already recorded his voice for the role. "I've already done it," he said. "I had this strange conversation where [Bay] seemed to imply it was all a big secret. So there you go - I've given you the secret scoop."

Must Watch: Final Epic X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer!
If the new Terminator Salvation and Public Enemies trailers weren't exciting enough, we've got yet another new trailer today. Fox has debuted the final trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine over on MTV. It's somewhat of an amalgamation of the three TV spots that we saw a few weeks ago, with some additional footage thrown in as well. The first thing I'll say is that this looks so much better than before because it finally looks polished and the effects look really good. Secondly, both Gambit and Deadpool look badass and I can't wait to see them in action. But does this look like it'll be one of the best summer movies or not?
