Constantin Film Adapting 28 Minutes as Outsourced Feature
Germany based Constantin Film has acquired the film rights to Dave Zeltserman's forthcoming crime novel "28 Minutes". Travis Milloy (Street Gun, Just Like Mona, upcoming Pandorum) has been hired to adapt the screenplay, which will be renamed to Outsourced. Zeltserman's gritty novel follows a group of unemployed software engineers who plan a bank robbery that gets them in trouble with mobsters from Boston and Russia. "The book is very real and original with believable contemporary characters," producer Jeremy Bolt told Variety. "We want to make an intelligent heist movie that people can relate to."

Angels and Demons Science and Religion Featurette
I don't know how I missed this, considering I'm a big fan of the book, but a new featurette for Sony's big summer movie Angels & Demons hit last week focusing on the battle between science and religion that is the theme of Dan Brown's book. Director Ron Howard and stars Tom Hanks and Ewan McGregor talk about the ideas behind Angels & Demons and how they play into the story. It's actually a fairly fascinating and entertaining video. I'm a bit baffled that Angels & Demons doesn't have more buzz, but I'm guessing that Sony has been marketing it to the older demographics and not to the younger summer audiences.

Must Watch: Full Trailer for Kazuaki Kiriya's Goemon
Late last year, we featured a crazy teaser trailer for a Japanese film called Goemon from visionary director Kazuaki Kiriya, of only a film called Casshern previously. Thanks again to Twitch, we've got the newest full-length Japanese trailer to feature today. I said previously that the first 30-second teaser was mind blowing, so you can imagine what my reaction will be to the full 138-second trailer. Unfortunately this is in Japanese, but you should still be able to enjoy the incredible visuals without understanding the dialogue. This just looks phenomenal in so many ways, and I really am anxious to see it as soon as possible!

Ryan's Review: Tony Gilroy's Duplicity
Julia Roberts, as luminous as ever, graces her way back onto the big screen as a leading lady in the droll, sleek, and sexy spy-thriller, Duplicity. Heating up the screen with Clive Owen, the thespian duo does their best to keep things light and audiences guessing the motives for all 125 minutes. Swapping Mr. & Mrs. Smith's brawn for brains, without Roberts's methodical scheming lines or Owen's hurried wily quips, Duplicity just misses from becoming a casualty from its own smarts.
Second-time director Tony Gilroy whose previous corporate corruption tale, Michael Clayton, could

Check This Out: Watchmen and Wall-E Mashup Video
I know that we are pretty much done talking about Watchmen for the moment, but this is just cool, and I wish I would've seen it earlier in the year before Watchmen had hit theaters. I'm not normally a fan of most YouTube trailer mashups, but this one featuring Wall-E visuals and the Watchmen trailer audio is just plain awesome. Thanks to YouTube user TM2Megatron we can see what it would be like if Zack Snyder had made Wall-E in the same style as Watchmen (or so that is the joke). Being a big fan of both movies, I did get a kick out of watching this, and it's just one of those funny weekend videos you've got to check out.

Bryan Singer Interested in Mark Wahlberg's Prisoners?
A couple of weeks ago we ran a story about a hot script floating around Hollywood called The Prisoners that Mark Wahlberg has just attached himself to. In the same vein as Taken and Gran Torino, the script is about a Boston dad who takes the law into his own hands when his young daughter is kidnapped. The script was written by newcomer Aaron Guzikowski and has been compared to The Silence of the Lambs and Se7en. As of first reporting the news, no studio or director was attached, although they're all buzzing about, but now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Valkyrie director Bryan Singer is very interested.

Sound Off: Alex Proyas' Knowing - What Did You Think?
Now that you've seen it, what did you think? Director Alex Proyas is best known and loved for two films from his past - The Crow and Dark City. When he directed I, Robot in 2004, many people thought he finally hit the bottom of the barrel, but now he's back, five years later, with another edgy new dark thriller. So is this Proyas' triumphant return? Did Nic Cage make a comeback, too? Was this as formulaic and as boring as most people seemed it would be? Or was Knowing as edgy and thrilling as Proyas' two prior cult classics? Sound off below, leave your thoughts, and let us know what you thought of Knowing!

Must Watch: Thomas Jane's Give 'Em Hell Malone Promo!
Last December we put up a few photos from a noir crime drama called Give 'Em Hell Malone starring Thomas Jane and Elsa Pataky. Thanks to Trailer Addict we've got the first promo trailer and holy sh*t it's badass! I've heard about how crazy this was before, and I think I saw some footage already, but let's forget about all that, because this promo trailer below is frickin' awesome! Thomas Jane stars as Malone, a tough as nails private investigator who squares off with gangsters and thugs to protect a valuable secret. "Malone goes through hell to protect the information but he dishes some hell as well." You've got to see this!

Wait, 50 Cent Not in Expendables, Terry Crews is Instead!
I really hate when casting like this changes so quickly. Earlier in the week we ran news from AICN that Forest Whitaker had been replaced by 50 Cent in Sylvester Stallone's upcoming The Expendables. I, unfortunately, thought it was a terrible idea, because I truly hate 50 Cent as an actor, and didn't want to see him ruin what I'm hoping will be a good movie. Well, Harry at AICN is saying that Stallone has called him up again and that 50 Cent is no longer taking the role, for unknown reasons, and instead the character of "Hale Caesar" will be played by Terry Crews. I hope this is finally who Stallone sticks with in the end.

Interview: I Love You, Man's Lead Actress Rashida Jones
John Hamburg's comedy I Love You, Man hits theaters this weekend and leading the female side of the cast is the lovely Rashida Jones. Before walking in to see I Love You, Man, I didn't really know who she was, but after walking out, I already wanted to see more of her. Not only is she very funny, but she has such a great charm to her that we rarely see these days with actresses. Luckily I had the chance to talk with Rashida last week while she was out in Austin at SXSW promoting the film. And I've got to say, I don't think ever talked with an actress this nice and this wonderful ever, and I'm so glad I had this opportunity.

Even More Terminator Salvation Eye Candy!
Why isn't it May 21st yet?! Thanks to that newest trailer that showed in front of Watchmen, I'm almost certain that Terminator Salvation has now become one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. We've only got 62 more days to wait until it hits theaters, which isn't that bad considering there's one more month (April) and then everything kicks off with X-Men Origins: Wolverine on May 1st. We've seen just about everything they'll show us from Terminator Salvation so far, including some badass posters and complete scenes, but these photos are still pretty cool to see and just get me more excited for May.

Kevin's Review: Sunshine Cleaning - Not as Bright as You Might Think
Back in 2007, Samuel L. Jackson starred in a movie called Cleaner, where he played the owner of a business that tidied up the biological mess of crime scenes. He was duped into helping cover up a murder, which kicked into gear the active and interesting plot. While Sunshine Cleaning leverages that same odd-but-curious career track, it's an altogether different film. Not nearly as bright and fresh as the title would leave you to believe, Sunshine Cleaning is an overcast and melancholy film. Despite its grey tones, the film contains a spectrum of color thanks to the performances of Amy Adams, Emily Blunt and Alan Arkin.
