A Few More New Star Trek Photos to Hype You Up

With only 29 days to go until J.J. Abrams' Star Trek hits theaters, anxiety is starting to really kick in. And all these new TV spots and clips and photos and posters aren't helping one bit. Thanks to DVD-Forum we've got a handful of new never-before-seen photos, including a few of Simon Pegg and Zoe Saldana. Oh wait, you didn't know Simon Pegg was in Star Trek? Yep, he is, and he eventually becomes the engineer on the USS Enterprise. Well, we get to see that story in the movie, at least. With that said, enjoy these new photos, go revisit the latest trailer, and try to be patient for just 29 more days. It'll be here before you know it!

Star Trek is directed by J.J. Abrams, of "Lost", "Alias", and Mission: Impossible III previously. The screenplay was written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, of The Island, Mission: Impossible III, Transformers, and the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. This is the 11th movie in the Star Trek universe, following most recently Star Trek: Nemesis in 2002. The original "Star Trek" TV series first aired in 1966. Paramount will debut Star Trek in theaters everywhere on May 8th this summer!

I know you are being sarcastic but even if Pegg's role isn't that big, readers would have to be moronic to not know he was in the movie. It was announced a hell of a long time ago.
I can't wait for this. It looks like a very well put together reboot.

Yes, Zoe is a beautiful girl. However, I'm looking forward to seeing Chris Pine..he's pretty damned nummy. After looking at the Star Trek IMDB, there are a few other cute Chris's, like Chris Hemsworth and Christopher Doohan. Still, Pine takes the award for best in show.
