Gentlemen Broncos Widget Starring Dr. Ronald Chevalier

It seems like the only worthwhile updates this week have been about viral marketing, but maybe it's just the calm before the storm. One film we haven't heard from in a while is Gentlemen Broncos, the latest comedy from Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess. However, thanks to an update on Wired, we may have something that will hold us over until we get to see a trailer. Found on the official website for the film's main character Dr. Ronald Chevalier, played by "Flight of the Conchords" star Jemaine Clement, is an Aphoristic Fruit of the Day Widget, where the "Oracle" gives an ounce of wisdom every day.
It's a fairly straightforward widget without too many bells and whistles. Interestingly, Chevalier's site actually kicked off in August of last year (we wrote about it then). It seems like Fox Searchlight is trying to get Dr. Chevalier inundated into our subconscious as a legitimate (or at least real) fantasy novelist who is somewhat of a self-proclaimed legend. In the film Gentlemen Broncos, a home-schooled kid claims that Chevalier rips off a story that he came up with for his own novel. As far as I know, the film is pretty much ready to go (I missed a test screening for it late last year), but this is all that we've ever seen from it.

I saw a sneak preview of this movie, and left half way while it started. This was the first time
I walked out of a movie, and "yes" it was that bad.

We are in this movie, & We feel very fortunate to have worked with such a talent as Jared Hess!
We play two out of the three thugs payed to kidnap a lady. (Jared called Us Butt Rockers!)
We can't wait to see this! The scenes We are in are short but it's going to be crazy!

Im gonna be SOOOO blown when i see this movie…. Its gonna be HILARIOUS. I love the music in this trailer and can't wait for the movie.
