First Creepy Photos from French Creature Feature The Pack

Well now doesn't this just look creepy! The guys over at Twitch were sent over the first few photos from a new French creature feature called The Pack. This is the first time I've ever heard of this film, but it looks pretty damn creepy, and I'll probably be keeping an eye on it from this point forward. The Pack is written and directed by first-time French filmmaker Franck Richard. The film was shooting in Belgium for the past few months, but has recently finished and moved into post-production. The special effects are being handled by Atelier 69, the same company behind Frontier(s), Mutants, The Horde, and High Lane. Interested?

In the middle of a snowy no man's land, Charlotte picks up Max, a hitchhiker; they stop in a truck-stop restaurant, and when Max doesn't come back from the bathroom, Charlotte starts looking for him in vain. She decides to return during the night but gets kidnapped by the bartender, La Spack, who turns out to be Max's mother and needs to feed her kids, 'The Pack', a bunch of blood lusting ghouls. The Pack stars Émilie Dequenne, Yolande Moreau, and Philippe Nahon. Overlook Entertainment is hoping to have a promo reel available by Cannes, so stay tuned for more updates around then. Who wants to see more from this?

Ooh, they ripped off the Pale Man from "Pan's Labrynth". That is creepy.
(well, to be fair it isn't an exact carbon copy, they did give it an underbite)

#3 My thought's exactly. I loved Pan's Labyrinth, and when I saw that pic I was like "Omg, Guillermo del Toro is making this movie? Effing sweet!"
Guess not.
But, this style of creepy creatures even made me love Hellboy 2, just because even the monsters and bad guys were absolutely beautiful in their own abstract way.
I will definitely keep an eye out for this one.
