Check This Out: Angels and Demons NBA Promo TV Spot
May 4, 2009
by Alex Billington
Sony sent over their brand new TV spot for Angels & Demons that will be showing during the 2009 NBA Playoffs on TNT. I'm not normally a basketball fan, so I wasn't expecting to like this, but when I watched it I knew I needed to feature it on the site. They put together a really cool combo promo for the NBA featuring Angels & Demons footage spliced with some basketball playoffs footage. It's actually pretty cool to watch, even if you're not a fan of the NBA or Angels & Demons. Obviously someone at Sony really loves their sports or this probably wouldn't have ever been made. Check it out, it's pretty damn cool. Good job on this, Sony!
Watch the NBA promo TV spot for Angels & Demons:
Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (played again by Tom Hanks) is brought to Europe to help solve the murder of a world renowned physicist and prevent a catastrophic terrorist attack against the Vatican.
Angels & Demons is directed by prolific filmmaker Ron Howard, of everything from Willow to Backdraft to Apollo 13 to A Beautiful Mind to the previous The Da Vinci Code. The script was written by veteran screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, of Lost in Space, A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, and I Am Legend most recently. This film is based on Dan Brown's popular bestselling novel of the same name. Sony Pictures will be debuting Angels & Demons in theaters everywhere on May 15th this summer.

The only thing this showed is that Oil & Water doesn't mix…..bad idea, they need to learn better ways to market the movie rather then using the NBA playoffs lol

Yeah, the movie looks good and that promo was okay during the game but it's dumb to see all by it's self.
