Bruce Willis is Starring in Russell Mulcahy's Grimm?

So wait, Bruce Willis is starring in a new movie from the guy who directed Resident Evil: Extinction - Russell Mulcahy? Say it ain't so! Our friends at ShockTillYouDrop have debuted the first teaser poster from a project called Grimm, a horror film set in a small Massachusetts town. This is the first we've ever heard about this, and I'm quite shocked to see that they've already lined up Bruce Willis, but that's what the poster says. The story follows a cop who attempts to uncover the truth behind a series of kidnappings and the strange occurrences surrounding them in the town. Newcomer Gene Quintano wrote the script.
The film starts when teenager Katie O'Sullivan goes over to babysit. She encounters "ghostly" twins Henry and Grace and a terrifying apparition that drags her off towards a sinister tower. "She is never seen again." And that's when Willis moves into town. I hate to say it, but this sounds like nothing more than the standard horror movie about mysterious ghosts and towns folk who don't care about what's going on. And adding Bruce Willis to the cast isn't going to make a difference. Nor will director Russell Mulcahy, unless there are some undead zombies and a girl in a red dress to kill them. We'll let you know how this develops.

Mulcahy ruined Resident Evil. As cool as this could be, it wont be.

I didn't think that his take on Resident Evil was all that bad. I still think George A. Romero should've made all of 'em anyway. You also have to remember that Russell Mulcahy made the first and second Highlander movies. The first one is a classic. The second one is a big, messy, floppy, fun little turd. That was still better than the last two. Give 'Em Hell Malone looks cool. Also, Mucahy. He also made Ricochet with Denzel Washington and John Lithgow. That one was cool. Jesse Ventura plays a nazi in the prison scenes. I 'm just saying, give him a shot. Maybe he won't fuck it up.

#1 How wrong you are. The third film was actually an improvement over the crappy 2nd film.
I will wait til I see a trailer before I judge this.
Bruce Willis is the man. He has done some cool films over the past decade (Die Hard 4.0/Sin City/Hostage/Tears Of The Sun) to name a few.
Saw the trailer for The Surrogates and that looks cool as hell.

Grimm?
Sounds like a story based on a twisted and creepy version of a character from the Brothers Grimm fairytales.

Are you all on HGH now? Knocking Russell Mulcahy; wow, you 'da man!! This poster's been around for ages. Bruce probably isn't in it anymore. And last I heard, Emma Roberts had been cast as the lead. As far as I know, Russell's got 'Bait' and 'Weapon' lined up for the rest of this year. Plus a movie called 'Martin Gregory' from the same company that did Malone, so we might not be seeing this for a while, unless they're about to go into production?
