In this episode of The Film Feed, Will and Sean get together to first bring you the latest in movie news. The guys also talk about the latest trailers including the film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road as well as Rob Marshall's Nine. Sean and Will then delve into a discussion regarding the latest controversy to hit the internet surrounding the false advertising of IMAX. But before that, Sean conveys his undying love of Johnny Depp while Will defends the acting chops of 90's heartthrob Leo DiCaprio. This week's review is of Ron Howard's Angels & Demons. Hey will you talk about IMAX screens. Well IMAX is trying to retro-fit theaters with smaller screens but closer to the perspective is still about the same according to them. So they tear out some of the seats and put the screen like in your face so you dont notice that its not the regular size imax screen.

1) Never say never. That's your opinion. You are entitled to it, just as I am mine. If you re-read my comment I made no mention of them making it as good or better than the book, simply that they "better not screw it up."
2) In the last month and half they have mentioned "The Brothers Bloom" at least once, making it an annoyance, more than a hint. Just because it is an Indie film does not mean you have to schill it constantly, some things are meant to be failures (i.e. Hindenburg, Titanic).
3) Lastly, if you think the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can stop the powers of emancipation, then you have another thing coming, sir. They might as well bow down to the one called Abraham Lincoln.

Honestly, the only reason I was excited for 'Bros Bloom' was because of 'Brick'. We're not in anybody's pocket really. Though it would be nice to be in someone's pocket, because I'm assuming that would mean some cash flow!
I agree that somethings are meant to be failures, but 'Bros Bloom' isn't one of them. One such indie film I was pretty excited for was 'Gigantic'. It failed pretty hard. I highly recommend 'Bros Bloom', simply because that it epitomizes the movie going experience.
