Unbelievable Trailer for Steven Soderbergh's The Informant!
Don't worry, this isn't truly "unbelievable," I just love this promo photo that Apple used. Warner Brothers has debuted the trailer for Steven Soderbergh's The Informant starring Matt Damon as FBI informant Mark Whitacre. Okay, this actually looks funnier than the Couples Retreat trailer that just debuted earlier today. I didn't know what to even expect, but damn, this looks great! I frickin' love Steven Soderbergh so damn much. He's unbelievably versatile and can direct almost anything, comedy, drama, indie, thriller, almost anything. With Matt Damon leading the way this time, it looks like he's got a solid hit on his hands!

Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand Co-Starring in a Road Comedy?!
If you didn't already hear, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced 134 new members today. Among the new inductees is Seth Rogen, comedic actor extraordinaire. We know he's working on The Green Hornet as we speak and has a whole handful of other projects lined up afterwards, but there is one project you just have to hear about. Rogen is attached to and developing a road (trip?) comedy called Mother's Curse that he'll co-star in with Barbra Streisand. Yep, you heard that right, the same Barbra Streisand that brought us "Happy Days Are Here Again" and played Mrs. Focker in Meet the Fockers.

George Clooney Leaves Warner Brothers and Signs With Sony
After residing at Warner Brothers for nearly nine years and feeling like "part of a family" there for "almost 20," George Clooney is moving over to Sony Pictures with his producing partner (and co-screenwriter on Good Night, and Good Luck) Grant Heslov. The duo's company, Smokehouse Pictures is has signed a two-year deal with Sony Pictures (as first announced by Deadline Hollywood), the very same studio that last week shocked the industry by abruptly dumping the baseball movie Moneyball, which was to be directed by Clooney's former Section 8 partner, Steven Soderbergh, and was going to star Clooney's buddy Brad Pitt.

Must Watch: Trailer for Peter Billingsley's Couples Retreat
Mike and Trent are back! Universal has debuted the first trailer for Couples Retreat on Apple today. Just looking at the cast, I'd say this is the ensemble comedy of the year. Here are the four couples: Kristen Bell and Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau and Kristin Davis, Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman, and Faizon Love and Kali Hawk. This seems like one hell of a wild, quirky, fun comedy, what more can I say? It also looks a lot like Forgetting Sarah Marshall but with four couples instead of just one. Upping the ante, so to say. I'm certainly looking forward to this. And don't forget, A.R. Rahman is scoring Couples Retreat as well. Enjoy!

New Princess and the Frog Behind-the-Scenes Featurette
Finally we get to hear what Louis the jazz playing alligator (seen above) sounds like! Our friends at Trailer Addict have posted a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette for The Princess and the Frog today. We've seen photos of all the characters, a teaser trailer, and now we get to hear some voices, finally! This video comes from, I think, the Disney Channel on TV and is one of those in-between segments where they promote their own movies. Who really cares, it's a great little featurette. Anyway, if you're looking forward to this, or just want to hear some of the voices and see more of Princess and the Frog, then check it out!

Secondly, comedy mastermind Mike Judge will be in attendance to promote Extract with his cast. And lastly, we've heard that Shane Acker's 9 will have a special sneak preview screening, too

Badass International Trailer for Inglourious Basterds Hits!
Now this finally looks like a badass Quentin Tarantino movie! A new French trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds has hit the web (via YouTube) and it's definitely a must watch. I've been waiting to see a trailer that not only does a good job of actually selling the movie, but is just plain awesome itself, and this is finally it. Not only does it actually stick to the real story about the movie premiere in Paris, but it has a great Tarantino vibe to it that was never in either of the first two trailers. Whether you're still waiting to see something more or are already looking forward to this, you need to watch this new trailer either way.

Bay Says We'll See More Ramon Rodriguez in Transformers 3
Oh please no! If there is one thing I absolutely hated about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, it was Ramon Rodriguez's character Leo Spitz, Sam's annoying roommate. All he did for a majority of the damn movie was whine and cry and yell and scream and make loud, annoying comments to Sam and Simmons. I was hoping this guy would get killed off, but alas he lived. Here's where the bad news comes in. In an interview with Michael Bay over on Hero Complex talking about actor Ramon Rodriguez, they mention that "if it plays out as he expects, the next installment would have a more substantial role for Rodriguez."

Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison are Afraid of Del Toro's Dark
Two more actors have joined the cast of Guillermo del Toro's Don't Be Afraid of the Dark to be directed by his protege Troy Nixey. Guy Pearce is in final negotiations and 9-year-old actress Bailee Madison is set to star with Katie Holmes (who we announced in May). Madison will play a young girl who moves in with her father and his girlfriend (Holmes) and discovers they are sharing the house with demonic creatures. She discovers and is fascinated by the creatures - until they prove dangerous. Pearce will play the father, an author frustrated by his daughter's tales of monsters, not believing her even when his girlfriend backs her.

Harry Potter IMAX Update - Only 3 Theaters on July 15th
Earlier this month it was discovered that the IMAX debut of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, with roughly 12 minutes of 3D footage, was going to be delayed two weeks due to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's contractual 4 week IMAX run. However, IMAX did promise that it would open in three of their theaters starting on Wednesday, July 15th, the same day it hits regular theaters. Which three theaters? Collider has confirmed that these theaters are: AMC Century City 15 (in Los Angeles), Henry Crown OMNIMAX (in Chicago), and AMC Loews Lincoln Square (in New York). Click any of those to buy tickets.

Jason Lee and Michelle Trachtenberg Join A Couple of Dicks
Does casting news this late really make a difference? The new Kevin Smith comedy, A Couple of Dicks, which has been shooting in New York for the past month, added a few more actors to its cast this week. SlashFilm was the first to confirm that Kevin Smith regular Jason Lee, who last appeared in Clerks II, had joined the cast. Variety also announced today that Michelle Trachtenberg would play the daughter of Bruce Willis' character, with Jason Lee playing her stepfather. Let's also throw in comedian Jim Norton (of Opie & Anthony fame), who said via Twitter that he has a small role in A Couple of Dicks as well.
