Animation Wednesday: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Trailer
July 1, 2009

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs opens today and that means all the other studios (mainly Sony Pictures) are putting out there new trailers for their upcoming animated movies. In addition to the new trailer for Planet 51, Sony has debuted the second full trailer for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs featuring the voices of Bill Hader as Flint Lockwood and Anna Faris as Sam. In comparison to Planet 51, I actually want to see this one just a bit more. Something about all that food and the comedy, it just gets me. Though I'm worried that like Sony Animation's last movie, Surf's Up, it won't be as good as the trailers make it seem.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese! Inspired by Judi and Ron Barrett's children's book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is co-directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the creators of the TV cartoon "Clone High". The screenplay was also co-written by both Lord and Miller and is based on Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett's book of the same name. Sony Pictures Animation is animating the film and will debut Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in theaters everywhere on September 18th later this year.

First off, I love it when adaptations don't really follow the original. I'd rather read the book again than watch something that copies it.
Second, Surf's Up was a great story. I'm sorry Pixar didn't make it. Maybe you'd love it if they did.

This looks so incredibly stupid, even for a kids movie. Seriously, if this is Hollywood trying to be original, then I'd much rather see more remakes and sequels.

Very funny movie! The scene that it drops food and drinks and hamburgs and so on are grand. If it were the real thing, that would be fantastic.LOL…While the bad thing is it drops too lot food that it nearly becomes a disaster. So,things are almost maybe the best!
Finally,if you have not watched the perfect video,I think you should take action now. http://watch-movies.net.in may be the best place for you to enjoy.Cos I watched the movie there.
