Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Sid and Nancy

Cinemash - Sid and Nancy

Hollywood's most recognizable stars have joined Mean Magazine's Cinemash, a new eye-catching video project. Mean's Cinemash recreates scenes from prominent films – ranging from cult classics to Oscar winners, all with eyebrow-raising casts. The series kicks off today with Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt cinemashing the 1986 classic film Sid and Nancy. This is perfect because there is a scene in the upcoming 500 Days of Summer (which I've added below) in which they actually talk about how they're like Sid and Nancy. Now they actually get to play Sid and Nancy. You definitely need to see this!

Here is the original scene from 500 Days of Summer with Zooey and Joe talking about Sid and Nancy:

And here is the new Cinemash version of Sid and Nancy starring Zooey and Joe as Sid and Nancy:

You can find more new Cinemash videos at: movies.msn.com/cinemash/. This Cinemash video above was actually directed by Marc Webb who also directed 500 Days of Summer. Future videos include Cheech and Chong cinemashing Tron and Milo Ventimiglia cinemashing Oldboy. Hope you enjoyed this Cinemash!

500 Days of Summer is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Marc Webb, of only a few music videos previously. The screenplay was co-written by first-time writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to a standing ovation. Fox Searchlight is bringing 500 Days of Summer to theaters everywhere starting on July 17th this summer. Don't miss it!

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AWESOME!

What's more JGL played Nancy amazingly! I didn't even mind for one moment that he was in drag. Totally got sucked into it. Just a testament to his talent I guess. Zooey was amazing too!

Hey, why is this just a 38 sec clip? Wasn't it, like, 3:30 before? Where's the rest of it?

Joseph gordon-levitt is a ridiculous actor that doesn't get enough credit, if you don't believe me check out "Brick" it's an indie type film the he really shows how amazing he is as an actor. Can't wait to see more of him.

Although extremely unconventional, that was an intense exercise in acting right there.

He's certainly hotter than the original Nancy.

Oh yeah, now I realize that Zooey has the same eyes as Debra Winger. That's why she's so attractive.

P.s. Word of advise to any women, don't break up with someone when they are about to eat. I had this semi done to me and it was extremely not cool.

Zooey Deschanel is hot in the same way that Christina Ricci is hot. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

17

No! Zooey is ugly and doesnt blink! I'll watch it only because of Levitt. Highly underrated.
