In this special episode of The Film Feed, the guys are joined by special guest Marco Cerritos of Box Office Magazine. As we've reached the half way point of the year, the guys thought it'd be a fun idea to count down their favorite films of 2009 thus far. The discussion includes comedy hits like The Hangover and massive blockbusters like Star Trek, but is also scattered with indie gems like The Hurt Locker and 500 Days of Summer. We all had a blast recording this episode and can't wait to hear all of your favorite films of the year so far as well! Great lists guys…
you're all making me feel like I haven't seen any movies this year,
which isn't true, there's just been so many good movies this year.
My List:
5. Watchmen - it wasn't amazing, but it edged out others because it's a pure cinematic achievement
4. The Hangover - the hardest I've laughed at the theatre in a while.
3. The Brother's Bloom - Just loved it…
2. Star Trek - Great Sci-Fi nostalgic thrill ride

There's a couple movies that just barely got cut from my list. Movies that included Moon,
Terminator: Salvation (don't kill me please) and Up, but overall I think its a fair list… I felt like you guys really overlooked Watchmen, which is definitely a better graphic novel than a film, but made my list purely on what an achievement it was that this film even got made.
*Still haven't seen movies like Away We Go, (500) Days of Summer and Drag Me to Hell, so that's why they're not on the list. Through from your guys rave reviews of (500)DoS I may have to try and catch it this weekend.
Thanks for the episode guys, I enjoyed it. Looking forward to more "Bonus" episodes.

1) Loved "Star Trek" (and I'm a "Star Wars" fan, too). Best Sci-Fi movie this year.
2) "Drag Me to Hell" was awesome. Classic Sam Raimi. Absolutely the most underrated movie this summer.
3) I actually dug "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" a lot. A little slow, but very dramatic for a Potter film. I'm actually anxious for the next two installments after seeing it, which is something I can't say for the previous films (which I also liked, but not as much).
4) Enjoyed "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" much more than critics and as much as normal people did 
5) Had fun with "Terminator: Salvation," but fear that most people have forgotten about it by now.
6) "Wolverine" was a good action movie, but veered to far away from the comics. Made too many changes and was more of an "X-Men" film than a "Wolverine" film. Probably my least favorite film of the year that I've seen, but not terrible either.
My most anticipated movie I have yet to see is "District 9." I have not seen "Watchmen" yet. I also wanted to check out "Alien Trespass" since it is heavily inspired by '50s Sci-fi which I am a huge fan of.
