Early Reviews of Up in the Air Say it Has Oscar Potential?

Some early reviews from a recent test screening of Jason Reitman's Up in the Air have been appearing on numerous sites scattered across the web today. The funny thing is that they all come from one guy that goes by the name "Marlowe." Either way, he says some really great things, and I wanted to at least pull some of his quotes from the review published on Jeffrey Wells' Hollywood Elsewhere (there's another one on IESB as well). I feel a bit justified saying "I am probably more excited for Jason Reitman's Up in the Air than I am any other movie the rest of this year" in the announcement that it was premiering in Toronto next month.
"Let me begin by saying that this summer has been a bust. The only highlights being smaller films like Moon and The Hurt Locker. The major tentpoles have all had problems. Even one of the better ones like Star Trek has some glaring plot problems. So when something like Up In The Air comes around it restores my faith in film."
"This is only Reitman's third film and he's showing such a level of confidence here that it's almost scary. Where does he go from here? UITA is going to be on everyone's Ten-Best list, and Clooney will be nominated for Best Actor. Clooney has never been so good. In fact, I feel he was born to play this character, a charmingly aloof business-track smoothie called Ryan Bingham."
That's as much as I'm pulling from the reveiw because I don't want to start getting into spoiler territory, but if you want to read the entire thing, you can do so right here. That bit about Clooney getting an Oscar nom is exciting to hear. He even mentions at one point: "Clooney is masterful… Cary Grant crossed with Warren Beatty." Damn, that's some priase! It's not that I didn't expect Up in the Air to have some Oscar potential (Reitman was nominated for Best Director for Juno and Diablo Cody won for Best Screenplay), but I guess I just wasn't expecting to think about this until Toronto. Now that world premiere can't come soon enough!

Having read the astounding book by Walter Kirn, I am so excited for this film. I knew Jason Reitman was the right guy for the job when they announced it, but was a little hesitant about Clooney. Now I am thinking this will be perfect.
