Kevin Smith Holding a Labor Day 24 Hour Tweet-A-Thon

Not doing anything for Labor Day on Monday? Want to ask Kevin Smith a question? Well, get on Twitter! I actually really love Twitter (@FirstShowing), I love that it allows everyone to interact and communicate with celebrities and filmmakers quite easily. Kevin Smith, director of the upcoming A Couple of Dicks, is hosting a 24 hour Tweet-A-Thon this upcoming Monday for fun, I guess? Well, he's actually kicking off promotion for his new book "Shootin' the Sh*t With Kevin Smith" and out of laziness is staying at home and just Tweeting back and forth with his fans. Here's a hilarious quote from Kevin about the event in the press release: "This is not news at all. In fact, it's kinda stupid. But I wanna see if I can do it. I've been training for this my whole life, simply by being a lazy fat-ass who'd rather stare at a screen than better himself with a brisk constitutional. Someone asked what my training regiment is gonna be, and I told them I've already stockpiled lots of Count Chocula." If only I weren't on this epic 28-day trip, I would be sitting at home with some Count Chocula myself watching this all unfold! Complain all you want about Twitter, but if it didn't exist, things like this wouldn't ever happen.
