Official Black Dynamite Trailer - Watch This, Jive Sucker!
September 9, 2009
Source: Yahoo
by Alex Billington
Apparition has debuted the official theatrical trailer for Black Dynamite, the blaxploitation throwback starring Michael Jai White. This film is so badass that I can't even use the word badass to describe it because it would be way too tame of a term! I first saw this up at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and it was awesome. It gets a little too wild, too often, and by the end I was almost tired of it (read my review). But in the 2-minutes of this trailer, you definitely won't get tired! If you're digging this at all, it's one of those films that you just have to see it in theaters with a big group of people, you'll have one hell of a time. Dig it!
Watch the theatrical trailer for Black Dynamite:
You can also watch the new Black Dynamite trailer in High Definition on Yahoo
The story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite, the one hero willing to fight The Man.
Black Dynamite is both co-written and directed by Scott Sanders, of only Thick as Thieves previously. The screenplay was co-written by Sanders as well as actors Byron Minns and Michael Jai White. This premiered at Sundance earlier this year as part of the Park City at Midnight program. It was eventually picked up by the newly founded Apparition distribution company and is being co-released by Sony Pictures soon. Black Dynamite will arrive in limited theaters starting on October 16th this fall. Go see this, you jive sucker!

The movie to end all movies. Once people see it they will leave in a daze and remain catatonic for weeks, some will not awake. Those that do will spend months doing kung fu on each other and calling people by outdated nicknames. Once the aftereffects die down people will shuffle into Iron Man 2 and leave unsatisfied. It will be the same for every other movie released thereafter. soon the losses will be too astronomical to bear and Hollywood will shut down. Movie theatres will only show Black Dynamite from then on.

its not double standard Transformers 2 did a complete bad stereotype of black people by making them into Robots. plus Transformers 2 was a complete mess why make a movie that is targeting the younger generation with stupid stereotypes and dumb story. look at Sam Witwicky mother getting high on pot, and having a robot humping Megan Fox legs, then they making this movie to young people and kids wow what a pile of crap. even i saw a interview were Shia LaBeouf said we are selling Toys, if Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is ment to sale toys to kids then they making these kids dumb by making that movie.

Quadrovision, who needs cinematic 3d!
I held back on watching this as I thought it would be average, but man it just put my ass in traction!
Looks so good.
As for Transformers 2 being full of bad racial stereotypes, of course it's Michael Bay, he makes all the stereotypes come to life, this movie is something completely different and if if you don't think so, you is workin for da man. Dam straight you honky mother fuxcar!

Good 70's nostalgia. I wish a lot of the newer remakes would stick with the style of the originals instead of the slaughter jobs they do to them now days. As much as I hope it's good, I'm afraid of the new A-Team.

holy jesus effin christ, this looks like fun! this may not be a "must see" in theaters, but i will definitely buy a copy on dvd as one of those "dude, you HAVE to see this" kinda movies. and definitely agree with alex, this is one of those rare movies where the more people you see it with, the better it gets.

Michael Jai White should make more movies displaying his martial art skills. Hopefully he will be making movies with Jet Li and Jason Statham.
